UNITY IS STRENGTHThis is a saying pronounced by our ancesters 'Unity is Strength', in order to unite our community members. But there is no unity at all in our Sourashtra community. If you want to take a commodity, single finger cannot be useful. All the five fingers should collectively unit and pick up the commodity successfully. Single palm cannot clap. Even clapping also both the palms are neccessary. Like that our community members should unite ourselves to take up the issue, politically, socially, religionsly, spiritually etc. So the strenth is very important to create strenth unity is essential. So Sourashtra commuity members should unit ourself to create strength. Single man cannot pull the chariot, but there should be great gathering to pull. So our Sourashtra community members should make a note of this point and unit ourselves. Unity is Strength

Science in Everyday LifeIt is broadest meaning of Knowledge science enters the life of even the most primitive

human being who knows the safe for the poisonous berry who has stored up some redimentary ideas about building a hut, sharpening a spear and fishing in the river. This knowledge or accumilation of experience, distinguishes man from the animal which has to rely on instinct.

Yet, for most people, 'science' means a number of abstract subject such as physics, chemistry, biology and mechanics, to quote a few which have little bearing on everyday living. How wrong this is. Our way of life is completely dependent on science its fruits surround us on all sides.

The Renaissance first taught man to realize the value of scientific progress, but it was not until the 18th century that the industrial revolution in the West really showed the impact science could have on living through developments in land village, commercial production, transportation and the beginning of the supply of mass production consumer goods. Until about 1920, progress was steady but in the last 45 years, the process of applying of science discovery itself.

Today there is available an enormous range of consumer goods from the alarm-clock to the computer all these things serve to make life easier and more pleasant, yet in themselves do not constitute civilization, merely its providing aids and shortcuts, without them life would be no more than the struggle for survival. there would be no time or incentive to pursue higher things.

Science has completely beneficial to ordinary living when property applied. When misused it is equally harmful. Land can be poisoned by chemicals, workers can suffer industrial disease, war can mobilize science to man's own destruction. Science is a good servant, but man must remain as master.

SUPPORT LEADS SUCCESSThe total success of a community oriented event or a function mostly depends upon the

total involvement and commitment of the people for whom such an event or a function is conducted. KUSO has been conducting “Jadhaga Parivarthanai Melas” since 2004. We have so far conducted 21 such ‘Melas’ twice in a year.

The response from the parents of “Nowrin / Nowran” is ever increasing and is very encouraging for the organizers of KUSO. We are making elaborate advertisement by various means. Wall posters are also prepared and arranged to be pasted in various big cities and towns for which we get support and cooperation from various people. High Court Madurai Bench (aged 62 yrs.) expired on 07.04.2015 in a road accident. He is survived by wife, a daughter and a son.

KUSO condoles the death and expressed its grief to the bereaved family.

Sri Mohanram had brought in 2,000 life members to Sourashtra Madhya Sabha to make it a powerful central body for theentire sourashtra community under the presidentship bySri T.D. Eswaramoorthy and worked hard for the successful conduct of the elections recently held.

Jan Dhan makes Guinness Records11.5 crore bank accounts opened against target of 10 crore

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Jan Dhan Yojana secured a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the world's largest financial inclusion initiative achieved in the quickest possible time.

At least 11.5 crore new bank accounts have been opened under the Jan Dhan Yojana so far, as against the target of 10 crore by 26-01- 2015.

“Most of India is included in the banking system today,” Finance Minister Arun Jeitley said addressing reporters at a press conference meant for listing out the government's achievements on the most ambitious financial inclusion plan of all time.

The scheme was launched on August 28, 2014, and at that time, the government had given banks the deadline of January 26, 2015, to open 10 crore accounts.

However, banks achieved the target set by the government a month before the January 26 deadline with Rs.9,000 crore already deposited in Jan Dhan accounts.

The government will now take a view on the expansion of the scheme on January 26. Jaitley said that the challenge now is to cover the miniscule number of the country's population which could not be covered till now.

He said that most of them live in inaccessible areas, apart from those residing in areas dominated by left-wing extremism. Finance Minister Jaitley said that the government is also taking a serious view of how to include each individual in the scheme so as to provide 100 per cent financial inclusion in the country.

“This is the first step towards making the country a cashless society,” Jaitley said, praising the initiative as an “unprecedented” one.

Jaitley said that RuPay cards have been issued to more than 10 crore beneficiaries who will each get a personal accidental insurance of Rs. 1 lakh, besides a life insurance cover of Rs. 30,000.

Exclusion of a large number of people from the banking net work was inhibiting growth, he said, describing the scheme as “a game changer for the Indian economy”.
