7. Looking back to your preliminary task, what do you feel that you have learnt in the progression From it to the full product? Looking back to the preliminary task at the beginning of the course, our group has learned a lot about the filming and editing aspects of creating a videoed sequence (eg. Opening sequence), we have also learned that planning and organisation within a group is essential in order for a film to work and make sense, we have also thoroughly researched our chosen genre for our task so that we could gain a greater understanding of the genre which we used to make our product the best it could be, we have also developed our cinematography skills (camera angles) so that we can portray certain moods and feelings in the film without them being spoken, all of our group each did independent research which later allowed us to share ideas among one another to ensure that we had created a decent varied ending product . During the making of the film in the preliminary task we did not completely understand the technologies that we had at our disposal , we also struggled to create the best possible outcome for our film , however as we used these new technologies more we were able to improve our work and try new things to add different feelings and emotions to our films , this is shown by comparing our 2 film’s together (prelim task & opening sequence), we also used a more complex
