    Cool-Down

    One at a Time

Select 2 – 3 students to begin travelling around the activity area while the other students freeze in a static●position.Encourage the students who are travelling to use different pathways and to travel around the static students.●Students who are travelling stop and freeze at random intervals. Students who are frozen begin travelling●when they see another student freeze.Students travel for a random amount of time and then freeze in a different static position.●

    Consolidation

Students work in pairs to modify the dance so it is appropriate for partners to move together. Encouragepairs to experiment with different formations (e.g., standing beside, behind or facing their partners) andmovements (i.e., consider altering some of the verses). Students can perform different movements insequence (i.e., echo), in opposition or synchronized with a partner.

Once completed, have partners share their routine to another group or consider having half of the classperform at a time. Students should provide each other feedback highlights areas of strength, or “glows”and areas that can use further improvement, “grow’s”.
