    Lesson Plan

    Overview Dont be a stationary learner. Get moving with mobile learning! The topic

    introduces mobile learning and uses of mobile learning.

    The goal of this lesson is to provide distance learners information aboutmobile learning. Mobile learning references the use of mobile or wireless

    devices for the purpose of learning while on the move. Devices used for

    mobile learning include tablets, laptops, personal media players, iPods, and

    other portable electronic devices (Park, 2011).

    Audience The audience for this online lesson is individual adult learners at NovaSoutheastern University or any learners interested in learning about mobile

    learning.

    Learning

    Objectives

    1. After completing the lesson on mobile learning learners will be ableto define what mobile learning is in his/her own terms.

    2. After completing the lesson on mobile learning learners will be ableto identify advantages and disadvantages in mobile learning.3. After completing the lesson on mobile learning identify mobile tools

    and technologies involved in mobile learning.

    Images, text, video To differentiate and enhance content presentation for various learningstyles

    Survey Monkey.com To collect feedback and comments from learners about their experience

    during their participation in the online lesson.

    Audacity To record and compress audio portions of presentation

    Activities 1. Learners will listen to introductory audio presentation that explains thepurpose of the lesson and required activities (2 minutes)

    2. Learners will read text and review graphics related to mobile learning(2 minutes)

    3. Learner will proceed with online lesson by watching a Youtube video

    demonstrating the impact of mobile learning.

    Lesson Plan

    After reviewing my classmates notes I revised my learning objectives. I also edited my overview

    of my lesson to explain the purpose. When I first created the lesson the overview was not detailed enough.
