Access database is a container, holds all
database objects
Access database is to be created before
creation of access objects

Creating Database in Access
There are two options available:
Create a new blank database
Create a database based on one selected
template

Creating Blank Access Database
When access is opened, Task Pane can
be viewed on right side of access window
Select Blank Database under the newoption
Click on new button on toolbar
Click on File New

Saving the Access Database
Save the access database file
Select folder where you want the file to be
saved
Give a filename
Press Create

Creating Template Based Access Database
When access is opened, Task Pane can be
viewed on right side of access window
Select General Templates under the New From
Template option
Select a template only if it fulfills all of the needsof the database required

Access is Relational Database
