ATTENDANCECourses with insufficient enrollment or those where student attendance drops below minimal standards, may be cancelled. Some classes may be combined with other class sections in order to ob-tain minimal student attendance. Regular atten-dance is expected of all students and is especially important for those seeking high school credit or vocational training certificate. Students may be dropped from class for unsatisfactory attendance.

CREDITCredit is granted when scholastic and attendance requirements have been met. Since many classes are taught on an individual format rather than in a lecture format, students may progress at their own rate.

Three types of instruction are offered: Individual-ized Instruction, Class Instruction (lecture), and Independent Study. Spanish LiteracyThis program is designed for Spanish speakers who have minimal or no literacy skills in their native language. This competency-based course contains pre-and basic reading and writing skills in Spanish and a minimal English as a Second Language component. The pur-pose of the course is to enable students to easily learn and transfer native language literacy skills to literacy skills in English. This will facilitate entry into the regular ESL program.
