Accountability 2017, 2018 and Beyond John Fessenden is an educational consultant who works with school districts, campuses and regional educational service centers in the areas of assessment, accountability and data analysis. From 2008 to 2010, John served as the Director of Accountability and Research for Del Valle Independent School District. In this capacity, he worked with central office and campus administrators to direct and implement district-wide efforts to focus on student achievement to promote excellence and meet and exceed state and federal accountability standards. During his tenure at Del Valle ISD, both the district and Del Valle High School earned Recognized ratings.

What to Expect from the 85 th Legislative Session

Dee Carney has over 20 years of experience in Texas public education, most recently as the Manager for Research and Accountability in Houston ISD. With prior experience in the classroom, as a mathematics curriculum coordinator, as a supervisor in accountability with Austin, Round Rock and Houston public schools, and as regional director with Accelerated Schools, Dee remains focused on helping campuses and districts to use assessment and accountability data to improve teaching, learning, and student achievement.
