NEW GEN ASIAN DESIGNER will be asked to come to Delhi on 10 October for a formal photo shoot along with their designs, those who cannot come can send 2 of there designs by courier. Shoot will be done on 2 Models in a professional studio by a professional photographer. These images will be used in designers social media promotions as well a NEWGEN ASIAN

DESIGNER Design Look book will be printed for Bloggers / Buyers / Designers.

Charge of this will be nominal INR 5,000 which covers ( Model, Photographer, studio, editingand Printing)

Who can apply ?Fashion designers who is in Fashion Business and has his/her running labels minimum for last 3 years wouldcome under the NEWGEN ASIAN DESIGNER category.

What are the Rules and Regulation to apply and dates of the event?• To qualify, all designer applicants must present credentials and designs under AUTUMN /WINTER 2018

and submit Previous season Look Book for review.• All applications for NEWGEN ASIAN DESIGNER are screened and examined by the ADW JURY PANEL.• The panel comprises of Fashion Journalists, Fashion Designers, Fashion Institute Faculties / Directors.• The panel would make the final selection based on the portfolio’s QUALITY, CREATIVITY, CLARITY,

INNOVATION AND ORIGINALITY.

• Fashion show tentative dates are last week of OCTOBER, 2018 ( Venue will be out in September)

SELECTION PROCESS – APPLICATION SUBMISSION

All applicants who wish to apply for NEWGEN ASIAN DESIGNER must fill the online registration form or sendtheir Portfolio/Look Book at hello@asiandesignerweek.comPlease do not submit your garment samples unless requested to do so.

TWO – SCREENING LOOKBOOK > PERSONAL INTERVIEW > FINAL SELECTION

• Once an applicant has completed the Application form and submitted the required portfolio, this will bereviewed and the selected ones will be notified by email / phone.

• Once the designer has been selected they may be called for Personal Interview (if required).• The final list of selected ADWAW18, NEWGEN ASIAN DESIGNER will be announced on ADW social

media handle on 30 June 2018.• NEWGEN ASIAN DESIGNER have to Deposit 25% of their fee with in 7 days after the date they are

informed of their selection.

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF SKETCHES & PICTURES

• Designer can send his/her present look book, previous season look book or recently completed project forany brand or client.

• Pictures of Designs should be taken on professional quality female models or on suitable mannequins.• Designers should provide high quality sketches and photographs in PDF/PNG/JPEG format. All files should

be zipped in a folder and then upload in a single zip or rar file. The file should not exceed more than 10MB.

TERM & CONDITION : MEDIA & ONLINE PUBLICITY

ADW has a media tie up and has professional PR team and attracts lot of media and bloggers during the event.How ever media coverage of any Designer/label is subject to its design, concept, presentation and showstopperin the show. This package includes support in preparing the press release and any coordination required with themedia professionals/ bloggers during the event. For guaranteed media/ blog coverage, please speak to ADWTeam (this comes under paid section).

ADW requires ( for pre event Online promotion on social media ) your write up, collection images and intro videowell in advance. Any delay in sending us the required content may delay the creation and promotion of youronline profile, including adverse effect on Media/buyers’ interest, marketing and brand in activities.

VIDEO & IMAGES (POST EVENT)

INR 2,500 will be charged extra from each individual designer for HD Pictures & Videos, this will be handover tothe designers next day in DVD. Payment will be made in cash on delivery during the event.

Please note placement of the designers will be through ADW hired fashion curators who have experience of 15+ in this industry.They will meet designers face to face have meeting and guide them through the process. We advise designers to prepare look book in advance. Designers will be introduced to the fashion curator 15 days ahead of the show. Last season we placed 5 Asian Budding designers to different multi designer stores.Its nice for designers to have gifts for buyers.
