2. Job purpose

The main purpose of this role is to work with the BAB Programme Management team supporting the gathering of learning and evidence from the BAB programme, and create opportunities to share this learning and evidence through the BAB partnership:

To:

Work with the Programme Management team, Delivery partners and local evaluators to capture and share learning and monitoring from the BAB Programme

Establish and coordinate a learning network for the BAB Programme Work with partners to maximise the learning, evidence and evaluation from BAB-

funded projects

3. Main duties and responsibilities

(a) Develop the mechanism and processes to capture and share learning and evidence from the BAB Programme

To:

Support the Programme Manager to develop and maintain effective systems for the capturing of learning from all BAB delivery partners

Design and coordinate a range of learning networks for the BAB Programme Be responsible for planning any BAB meetings and events relating to sharing

learning Ensure that learning and evidence from the BAB programme is communicated to

other Ageing Better areas and Big Lottery Fund Work with the Programme Management team to identify new opportunities to share

learning and evidence from the BAB Programme Produce materials and reports to summarise and share the learning from the BAB

programme

(b) Maximise evidence and evaluation from BAB partners

To:

Work with the Programme Manager and Contracts & Finance Officer to ensure that delivery partners are fulfilling contractual obligations relating to monitoring and evaluation

Support the BAB Community Researchers and local evaluation team in undertaking bespoke evaluation of BAB projects

Support the BAB Community Researchers to maximise returns of the BAB Common Measure Framework (CMF) evaluation toolkit

Work with national evaluators Ecorys to produce suitable translated versions of the CMF

Ensure that all CMF data entered onto the national website is robust and quality checked

Be first point of contact (whilst working closely with local evaluation lead) for any evaluation enquiries from BAB delivery partners

Work alongside BAB volunteers and provide support when required Act as an ambassador for the BAB programme Promote positive images of ageing and work to dispel negative stereotypes of older

5. General

To: Work within the values, beliefs and policies of both Age UK Bristol and BAB at all

times and to promote these to service users, carers and other stakeholders. Take part in line management supervision and appraisal as required. Undertake other tasks commensurate with the position as required.

Different approaches to capturing learning around delivery and project management

Skills & Abilities:

Excellent administration skills and attention to detail

Ability to produce and present reports and summarise (verbally and written) in a clear focused way

Ability to organise and facilitate groups and meetings

Good IT skills including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint

Time management, including the ability to be flexible, prioritise competing demands and manage a varied workload
