Alicia Mistry spent a semester in Spain at Universidad de Alicante, studying Spanish and international business. (At Austin College, she is completing a major in business administration and a minor in Spanish.) Her international experience included exploration of other areas in Spain, and she is pictured in Barcelona at Parque Güell, enjoying the mosaics of Antoni Gaudi. “Studying abroad leads to adventures,” she said. “Adventures lead to learning, and learning leads to living. Study abroad is as much about learning about yourself as it is about another culture or country. When you are thrust out into a new world where unique things peek at you from every doorway, you can’t help but discover new things about yourself.”
