The purpose of this society is the spiritual, cultural, civic, social and physical improvement of its members & the development of their leadership qualities. (Section II, Art. II.)

Each unit shall be known as a Circle and shall be identified by the number assigned by the Supreme Council Committee on Charters upon Institution of the Circle. (Section II, Art. III)

A Squires circle is designed to be run both by and for young men.

A Squires is an athletic team, a youth group, a social club, a cultural and civic improvement association, management training program, and a spiritual awareness course all rolled into one.

The Squires emblem symbolizes the ideals which identify a Squire. Centered in a circle and on a maltese cross the letters “P” “I” “S” and “C” (which symbolize the unity of physical, intellectual, spiritual and civic life in a squire) are the larger letters “C”, representing Christ, “S,” the squires, and “K,” the Knights by whom the Squires program is sponsored. ESTO DIGNUS means “BE WORTHY” or “Maging Karapat-dapat”
