CONCEPTDevelopment and evaluation of different technological approaches for the
stabilization of the soldier's body temperature.
OBJECTIVE
Study the feasibility of a new acclimatisation textile system;
Regarding active and passive technologies that can act as a temperature
regulator;
Taking into account different environment conditions.
-19ºC -6ºC
+28ºC +39ºC
CO A3
PROJECT RESULTS
Two different technological approaches for the stabilization of the soldier'sbody temperature proposed for Conceptual development and Evaluation:
Architecture 1: 3D fabric structure (Passive); Integrated heating bands(Heating); Ventilation fans (Cooling by convection); coated air channels in the3D; Control system;
Architecture 2: 3D fabric structure (Passive); Peltier elements(Heating/Cooling); Ventilation fans (Convection); coated air channels in the 3D;Control system.
OBJETIVE
Study and recommend technological
solutions for adaptative camouflage
for the dismounted soldier.
