A Telecom Zone at the show by the Telecommunica�ons Regula-tory Authority along with Omantel and Nawras highlighted their joint ini�a�ve to connect 250 rural villages through 200 telecom towers.

Following the COMEX trend, companies chose the event to launch their new services such as Microso�’s Office 365 and Yammer, Oman Data Park’s public cloud which is the first in the GCC, Telecommunica�ons Regulatory Authority (TRA) and Cisco’s new Video Conferencing Solu�on for hearing impaired people and ITA’s inaugura�on of the “Sas Centre for Virtual Reality”.

A dedicated B2B portal was included on the event website through which exhibitors could register their products and services for the 600 registered trade visitors to interact and meet them at the event.
A dedicated India Pavilion under the auspices of the Electronic & So�ware Promo�on Council of India –“Fi�een IT companies par�cipated under ESC’s banner”, said Kamal Vachani, regional director, ESC Middle East.
