For example, thirty years ago, novelists, journalists and architects still worked

on papers and typewriters. Therefore, when something went wrong, they had

to do it again from the beginning. With the help of word processors and

architect software such as Microsoft Office Word and AutoCAD, those officers

definitely have saved a huge amount of time. Present architects do not have to

redraw their designs due to the function undo in the software.

Computers are also useful in communication and doing research. In other

words, thanks to the Internet Technology, it is easier for people to

communicate and share information. For example, a diabetic can simply

google a diet which is suitable for him, and contact his private doctor by

emails. Furthermore, Internet has created various opportunities. For instance,

employees and employers now can contact simply through work finder

service websites. There are more services like that such as distant learning,

social network, and online shopping which produce numerous business

chances.The final significant reason for computers being important to human life is

that it has been forming a new kind of entertainment. Companies are

developing several types of creative games such as MMORPG (Massively

multi online roll-playing game), puzzle, detective and action games among

others. In addition, people can easily get access to vast libraries of music and

video like YouTube and Itunes Stores. Seeing the potential in this

entertainment industry, investors are giving a boost to this new kind of

business which would result in more interesting ideas in the future.To conclude, computers are reckoned as the most amazing invention in the

world because they are helpful in working, communication and

entertainment. This innovation and related technologies would definitely be

more interesting and remarkable due to the priority in governments policies

and peoples interest.

inventions which have changed the face of humanity. Computer technology certainly has placed

itself on the podium, for its unquestionable influence on the human life including per-sonal and

professional level. Its omnipresent existence, taken by many a people for granted,does not

evoke feelings of anxiety or uncertainty. Perhaps, one should take a deeper insightinto the

pros and cons of computer technology.To begin with, first computers came into existence in the

mid-1950s, functioningmerely as a highly complex calculative devices destined to assist

scientists in conducting re-searches. Hardly practical for their size, processing power and limited

variety of performedoperations, computers were not the objects of desire and inseparable

companions of a man.Therefore, no machine-human bond could be formed, making the man

totally independent of its workings. This, however, was about to change.In the 1990s, theemergence of the worldwide network completely revolutionized theway computer technology

was perceived; computers have become the door into the fascinat-ing world of information,

creating new perspectives for the development of humanity. Helpful both, at work (participation

in global market) and school (e.g. introduction of the e-learningsystem on universities), they

have evolved technologically, and as personal devices (PC andnotebooks), become as efficient

and multi-range as possible.At this point, the role of computers in human life has become more

dubious. The useof highly advanced computer technology allowing to surf the net without

restrictions, havegiven rise to innumerable problems connected with the existence of hostile

applications, theviruses. Despite various protection programs, viruses can imperceptibly enter

any computer,totally destroying the softwares structure.Moreover, spending long hours on the

net not only endangers the computer itself, butalso its user. By losing oneself in the virtual

reality, the man gradually loosens the bonds

withfamily and remises his duties at work. Notwithstanding that, playing realistic computer game

s, involving huge emotional engagement engenders addition, alertness, or even violent behavior,

recognized both in children and adults.To conclude, I believe that computer technology

constitutes a wonderful achievementof human mind which, if wrongly used, becomes its

destructor. Being a great help in numer-ous fields of human activity, computers may, however,

bring more side-effects than benefits.If common sense fails a man, infected computer will be the

least of his problems.
