Department submitted the report that DDRS approval for the project was not received but in the meantime arrangement has been made by the Panchayat department from NREGS.Work has been completed and CC Road work is under progress for which an amount of Rs.15. lacs are to be obtained from NREGS to complete the CC Road work.

3. Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Agenda Items Departmental Comments DC RemarksSet up 66 KV Sub Station at Hissar Road for the upcoming industrial growth.

1. As per report received from Executive Engineer, Op.Div., Ambala City, new colonies are coming up. Presently this area is being fed from 66KV Sub station at Layalpur Basti , Sonda, and Chaurmastpur. -all far away from this area,therefore resulting in frequent tripping/breakdown. Due to this very reason Nigam is neither able to cater quality supply to the area nor able to meet out the future demand of the area.2. In view of the above it is proposed that a 66KV sub station be created at Hissar Road/village Balana with a installed capacity of one No. 10/12.5 MVA, 66/11 KV transformer so as to meet out the future load growth as well as to cater better quality of supply to the area. The required 66KV sub line will be tapped from nearby Tepla-sonda Line which is at a distance of approximately 7.0Km from proposed site. The approximate cost of the project is Rs.400.00 lacs subject to the availability of land free of cost.

Deptt. Submitted the report that this project is not feasible due to non availability of required land. However, the existing 66 KV sub station at saddopur, sonda and Layalpur Basti are being augmented to meet out the demand of industrial as well as other load growth.

Beautification of Flyovers.

Commissioner PWD B&R has informed that Deputy Commissioner may submit a specific proposal in this regard which would be taken up with NHAI

SDO © submitted a proposal that shops/rehris along the boundary of Railway Station may be shifted in the open space beneath the fly over. It may help in free flow of public transport/general traffic. Efforts are being made to shift the rehries/shops along the boundary of railway station and re-located at an open space. For this purpose sites are being inspected. In regard to the beautification of Fly over near Central Jail in Ambala NHAI reported that the project of 6 laning of NH is under consideration. In regard to above it is proposed that plantation will definitely help in beautification of the flyover near central jail in Ambala city.

KANWALA DISTRIBUTARY To operationalize 1st stage i.e. kanwala distributory system of NLIS, its rehabilitation is required. The capacity of kanwala distibutory is also to be increased to supply 30 Cs. Canal Water to HUDA for drinking purposes. Earlier the rehabilitation could not be done due to the reason that 20 Cs. Supply to MES Ambala Cantt is being given regularly.Due to inadequate storage capacity of tanks of these departments, the closure could not be arranged earlier.

Deptt submitted the report that approval of NABARD authority is awaited. The rehabilitation of naggal lift irrigartion scheme will be taken up after the approval of project by NABARD.Share money is also awaited from HUDA.

The Work is under progress and Likely to be Completed by 31-05-2010
