VICTORIA PLAINS N' ERMIN BOARD.PURSUANT to the powers conferred upon it by theVermin Act, 1918, the Victoria. Plains Vermin Boardhereby orders as follows:

(a) The respective occupiers and (where no personis in actual possession) owners of all holdings withinthe Victoria Plains Vermin District shall commence thework of destroying rabbits on such holdings, and uponroads bounding or intersecting same, not later than 15thJanuary, 1946, and shall continue and systematicallycarry out such work for a period of four months fromthe said date.

(b) The means which shall be adopted for the carry-ing out of the said work shall be the laying of poisonbaits not more than eight feet apart in a well definedtrench or furrow at all localities where evidence of thepresence of rabbits exists, or such other means as maybe approved by the Board's Vermin Inspector.

Any person failing to comply with the requirementsof this order will be liable to prosecution under section97 of the Act without further notice.
