WHEREAS by Section 9 of "The Land Act, 1898;"' the Governor May resume, for any of the purposes speci-fied ill Section 39 of the said Act, any portion- of laud held as a Grilling Lease: And Whereas it is deemed expedient that the portion of Grazing Lease 1905/68 (Avon Location 6335), as described hereunder, should he resumed for one of the purposes specified in par.a.- graph of Section 39 of the said Act, that is to say for Townsite: Now therefore 1, Major. WHEREAS by "The Metropolitan Water Supply, Sew-erage,.and Drainage Act, 1909,'' it is provided in Sec-tion 20 that the Governor may exempt such reticulation works as in his discretion he may think fit from the operations of certain sections of this Act: Now, there-fore, His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, does hereby exempt the reticula-tion works as hereinafter described from the operations of khibsections (a) and (b) of Section 20, and Sections 2l, 22, and 23 of the said Act:—

    Description of said Reticulation, .A four-inch stoneware pipe sewer, with all apparatus

    relating thereto; being a portion of Area 17, Perth, and einninencing, from Manhole No. -1453 and proceeding in a. Westerly direction through private property and across Harold Street,. and thence again through private property, for a distance of 150 feet.

Section 39 of the said Act, or for the like or other public purposes to be specified in such order: And whereas it is deemed expedient that Reserve No. 2260 (at Roebourne) should vest in and be held by the Hon. the Minister for Water Supply, Sewerage, and Drain-age, in trust for the purpose- of Water Supply: Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth here-by direct that the before-mentioned Reserve shall vest
