WHEREAS by "The Metropolitan Water Supply, Sew-erage,.and Drainage Act, 1909,'' it is provided in Sec-tion 20 that the Governor may exempt such reticulation works as in his discretion he may think fit from the operations of certain sections of this Act: Now, there-fore, His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, does hereby exempt the reticula-tion works as hereinafter described from the operations of khibsections (a) and (b) of Section 20, and Sections 2l, 22, and 23 of the said Act:—

Description of said Reticulation, .A four-inch stoneware pipe sewer, with all apparatus

relating thereto; being a portion of Area 17, Perth, and einninencing, from Manhole No. -1453 and proceeding in a. Westerly direction through private property and across Harold Street,. and thence again through private property, for a distance of 150 feet.

HIS Excellency the Governor in Executive Council, by virtue of the powers conferred under Section 30 of ''The Mining Act, 1904," has been pleased to grant to Arthur Norman Branson Authority to Mine No. 213H (1/14) on certain reserved and exempted lands within Water. Reserve No. 13956, East Murchison Goldfield, to be held as Prospecting Area No. 68:5, conditionally:—

(1.) That no mining operations on Water Reserve No. 13956 shall be carried on below water level, nor within a radius of 200 feet of the Stock -Well, except that the applicant be allowed to carry on mining operations -within an old shaft near the Northern boundary of Prospecting Area No. 685, which is within the radius of 200 feet of the Stock Well, such mining operations in the shaft being confined to above water level.

(2.) That the applicant shall fill in or securely fence all holes and excavations dangerous to stock.

TAKE notice that it is the intention of the Warden of the Goldfield mentioned hereunder, on the date men-tioned, to issue out of the Warden's Court an order authorising the resumption of possession, for and on behalf of His Majesty, in accordance with Regulation 163 of "The Mining Act, 1904," of the undermentioned Mining Tenements.
