Language Available: English/Mandarin Travel Validity: 01 Oct’18 – 30 Apr’19 Day 1: Arrival at Hanoi (Dinner) Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, there will be a transfer provided to bring you to the hotel. Upon check-in, you will spend the rest of the day at your own leisure. Tonight, you will dine in a local restaurant. Day 2: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) Today, after breakfast, enjoy a morning city tour to visit some of the city’s attractions including the fascinating Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (to be replaced by the Quan Thanh pagoda on Mondays and Fridays), the Ho Chi Minh House on stilt and One Pillar Pagoda. You will also get to visit the popular Restored Sword Lake in the centre of modern Hanoi. After visiting these destinations, you will proceed to have lunch. After lunch, visit the Temple of Literature, which is regarded as the first university in Vietnam. After visiting the temple, proceed to Ha Long Bay, titled both one of Vietnam’s greatest natural wonders as well as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage. Dinner will be preceded by the water puppet performance a unique and famous traditional performance. Day 3: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) After having breakfast, you will get the opportunity to cruise down the emerald green waters of Ha Long. Visit grottoes Thien Cung and Dau Go as well as the floating village which are located among the 3000 spectacular limestone islands. Your cruising experience will end with a fresh seafood lunch onboard. After lunch, de-tour back to Hanoi. Upon arrival in Hanoi, proceed to the airport to catch your evening flight back to Ho Chi Minh City. This city is still known as Saigon by many locals. Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh, you will be picked up and transferred for dinner at one of the local restaurants. Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) Today, after having breakfast in the hotel, leave Ho Chi Minh City for Cu Chi Tunnels. Here, you will have the opportunity to witness how rice paper is made and explore the amazing labyrinth of tunnels used by the guerrillas during the war. Having explored Cu Chi Tunnels, return to Ho Chi Minh City and have lunch at a local restaurant. Nextvisit the War Museum, which primarily contains exhibits relating to the American phase of the Vietnam War. Then, visit the Reunification Palace, which was the workplace of the President of South Vietnam and was then known as Independence Palace. You will then proceed to visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, the spiritual and cultural crucible of the French presence in the Orient. The General Post Office is next, an ancient building that is built in the French colonial architecture style. Today, the final stop of the day will be the Ben Thanh Market which is always loaded with varieties of goods such as consumer goods, cakes and candies, food and foodstuff. Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho – Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) Today, take a full day trip to the world of water – Mekong Delta. My Tho is a prosperous town of 175,000 inhabitants in the Mekong Delta, is famed for its extensive orchards and immense rice fields. Then, take a cruise down the Mekong River for some island-hopping. Here, you may enjoy tropical fruits, honey tea and listen to Southern traditional music. Later, hop onboard a small boat to discover the natural canal of the Ben Tre province and stroll through the coconut farm to discover the livelihood of Mekong Delta. After lunch, you will advance to the Vinh Trang Pagoda before returning back to Ho Chi Minh City for the night. Day 6: Depart from Ho Chi Minh (Breakfast) Today, after breakfast, you will have some leisure time before your transfer back to Tan Son Nhat Airport for your flight back to Singapore. Includes:
