What have you learnt about technologies from the process of

constructing this product?

• Throughout the process of constructing this media product I have learnt about using different technologies such as Photoshop and InDesign, also publishing

media’s like Scribd.• Before starting making my music magazine I only knew the basics of how to use

Photoshop. While making my music magazine I learnt how to use the quick selection tool of which I used to cut out an image from its background to then

use on my double page spread. Although having to spend a lot of time using this specific tool and it also being frustrating at times it did help a lot to create my

magazine.• Although I had used InDesign before I learnt how to type a text on a line to make

it wrap around an image or a page to create an effect, although I never used it on my magazine.

Designing Text In A Shape

On InDesign I have learnt how to fill a shape with text.

Click on the type and draw the shape you want in box stages.

• Next either write your own text or right click inside the box and click ‘Fill with Placeholder Text’ to preview what it will look like with random text.• Do this in each individual box.
