Matthew Norris is the Networking Department Lab Technician at Baker College Muskegon

Campus. He has an Associates of Applied Science Degree in computer Networking

Technology, A Certificate in Cisco Broadband Healthcare Information Technology. He is

currently working toward his Bachelors of Information Technology degree while minoring

in Information System. Matt is a past presenter at the 2012 MDEW.

Penny E. Nerem PTA, PWC, BNI-DC, CLL is a Certified Laugh Leader in the Northern

Michigan area. She has taught Laugh Classes at the Nutrition Club NOURISH in Traverse

City for the past 3 years. Penny is a Physical Therapist Assistant and Personal Wellness

Coach and uses her knowledge of Laughter to assist in her client’s daily needs for health

Kelly Reggio, CAP-OM is employed as an Administrative Specialist at Zoetis,(formerly part

of Pfizer Inc.) and is currently working in Vet Med Research and Development. She

supports Dr. Stephen Sutherland, Senior Director, Saye Ahmed, Associate Director, Dawn

Cleaver, Associate Director, John Hallberg, Director, Thomas Schriemer, Director, Aubrey

Schroeder, Director and Robert Chesebrough, Senior Director in Regulatory Affairs. She

has also held positions in Pfizer Global Manufacturing as an Administrative Assistant in

Business Technology, Finance and HR, Continuous Improvement Technical Project

Management and the Tech Team. Prior to working at Pfizer, she was employed at the

Kalamazoo Gazette in the Classified and Display Advertising Departments.

Kelly has been a member of the Kalamazoo International Association of Administrative

Professional’s Chapter since April 1998. She has served on numerous committees and on

the Board as Treasurer, President-Elect, and as a two-term President. She has

represented her chapter as Alternate or Delegate at several Division, District and

International Conventions. Kelly has also served as Michigan Division Vice-President, President-Elect and President.

She achieved Distinguished Division President, Outstanding Division President in Membership, and Outstanding

Division President in New Chapter Development. She attained her Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) rating in

May 2006, recertifying in August 2009 as well as “Member of Excellence” recognition from 2008-2012. She has been

recognized as a Retirement Trust Foundation Pacesetter for 2009-2012. Kelly served four years on the Retirement

Trust Foundation, two as Chair and is currently serving as the Chair of The Foundation of IAAP along with maintaining a

seat on the International Board of Directors for IAAP.

Kelly is an honors graduate of Kalamazoo Valley Community College with an Associate Degree in Office

Administration, where she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. She is very active in the Kalamazoo Region High School

business programs, serving on an advisory board of 12 district schools, speaking at the local community colleges and

high schools.

Kelly’s entrepreneurial spirit has lead her to a part-time career as a business owner. She has been recognized as a top

ten representative in sales in her first months in the business.

She has also been a team leader at work for United Way, “Making Strides”, “March of Dimes” and “Heart Walk”. She

also volunteers as an Usher for productions at Miller Auditorium on the campus of Western Michigan University.

The Park Place Hotel has agreed to room rates of: $129.95 Single/Double up to 4 people in a room. All rooms are

subject to 11% State and Occupancy Taxes. Deadline for booking at Block Room Rate is April 17, 2013.

For reservations call 231-946-5000 and identify yourself as being with IAAP, Michigan Division Conference Room Block.

To get the negotiated rate you must call in your reservation.

From South (US 131)/Grand Rapids: Take US 131 North into Cadillac. In Cadillac take M-115 North to M37 N towards

Traverse City (turn right). M-37 will join with M-31. Follow to the bay at the intersection of M-37 and M-31, turn right.

Go one mile and turn right on Park Street - follow straight ahead to the Park Place.

From Detroit / Flint: Take I-75 N to Grayling, exit on M-72 west. Follow M-72 to US 31 and turn left. Go through

Traverse City keeping the bay on your right. Turn left on Cass Street and then turn left on State Street. The Park Place

will be 2 blocks on your right.

From Lansing: Take US 127 N towards Grayling. Follow M-72 to US 31 and turn left. Go through Traverse City keeping

the bay on your right. Turn left on Cass Street and then turn left on State Street. The Park Place will be 2 blocks on

your right.

Registration

Use one form per person to register – photocopy form as needed. Payment must accompany registration to be

accepted.

Online registration available on the Michigan Division website at www.iaapmichigan.org. Go to the Meetings &

Events tab and select the Online Registration Form link.

REGISTRATION MUST BE POSTMARKED BY APRIL 30, 2013. After this date a $20.00 Late Fee will be

charged.

Registrants will receive confirmation of registration by email or fax. Conference registration materials and badges

can be picked up at the IAAP Registration Desk during scheduled registration hours. See program details for hours

of operation.

As an added option, this year, we are offering members the opportunity to make their “Full” Registration

Payments in three installments. This option will only be available for those making their payments by check.

Partial registrations are not eligible for the installment plan option.

1st Payment (1/3 registration $70.00) due by March 15, 2013

2nd Payment (1/3 registration $70.00) due by April 5, 2013

3rd Payment (1/3 registration $70.00) due by April 30, 2013

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation or substitution request, including a detailed explanation, must be submitted in writing by

May 1, 2013. Refunds, less a $20.00 administrative fee will be given. Registrants who fail to notify Michigan

Division of cancellation in writing by April 30, 2013, will forfeit all registration fees. There will be NO refunds after

May 1, 2013.
