On behalf of our Board of Directors, I would like to invite you to attend the 64th Annual Meeting of the Pacific Dermatologic Association (PDA), to be held August 22-26, 2012 at the Hyatt Regen-cy Resort in beautiful Huntington Beach, CA. Our Program Chairs, Janellen Smith, MD and Margaret Mann, MD have assembled an outstanding program with both practical and cutting-edge presentations

on a full range of medical and surgical dermatological topics. Bruce Ragsdale, MD, Clinicopathologic Conference (CPC) Chair, has secured Martin Mihm, MD, from Harvard University to serve as the guest derma-topathologist for 2012. One of the most popular and unique sessions at the PDA’s Annual Meeting, the CPC will feature the presentation and discussion of the clinical and histopathological correlations of inter-esting dermatology cases.

We are also featuring a Cutaneous Oncology Session and a “Meet the Experts” Psoriasis Symposium. Margaret Mann, MD has put together a Cosmetic Session of laser experts and we have also brought back John Wolf’s Historian Talk. As with all PDA meetings, there were will ample time to enjoy the extracurricular activities of beautiful Orange County from group surfing lessons to bicycling along the coast to a scenic President’s Dinner. We encourage the participation of “up and coming” young dermatologists at this meeting — remember that der-matology residents can attend for free! In addition, our Resident Case Symposium ensures that the best and the brightest residents have the opportunity to present quality case studies. We encourage you to bring your families to enjoy Huntington Beach and all it has to offer. Please make your plans to join us for what promises to be a great meeting.
