The equipment is designed or the ollowing applications:

Ofcial Calibration Purposes Calibration o Testing Machines

Standard Calibrations Industrial Process Controls (ISO 9000 a.s.o.)

Our reerence load cells are designed to calibrate any type o testing machine or quality con-

trol purposes as well as or obtaining an ofcial calibration certifcate. Whenever orces have

to be measured accurately, two methods are possible. Either by using dead-weight machines

which are quite expensive and hard to operate and not very common, or by using testing ma-

chines equipped with a transer orce transducer. This solution is much more exible and rela-

tively cheap. The technical specifcation is in compliance with ISO 376 (ormerly EN 10002-3)

Class 05 and 00 (eventually Class 1) regulations and is part o the control tools re-

quired or, among others, the application o ISO 9000 regulations. Now available, standard re-

erence transducers with digital output and dedicated ISO 376 sotware allowing a direct link

between the transducer and the computer, a cost eective solution o the measurement chain.

Besides that we oer a wide range o extensometer calibration equipment or the verifcation o

the axial linearity as well as the initial gauge length.

For all the equipment dierent digital indicators are available. They can be interaced to a PC in

connection with our calibration sotware packages. This allows a data acquisition, analysis, cal-

culation and print-out o calibration reports.

Flexibility: The built-in standard PC, the two PCMCIA slots and the modular architecture o the

MGC - PLUS plus allow you to reely expand your system. You can add new modules when you

like - and in the uture - to suit changed requirements. As well as making analogue signals con-

stantly available or every measurement channel, the MGC - PLUS also gives you high-speed,

digital data acquisition at high resolution.

Connect up any type o transducer: Whether you want to measure orce, displacement, pres-

sure, temperature, torque, acceleration, strain, stress, voltage, current, requency or resistance

    - at low or high speeds - you will fnd a dedicated MGC - PLUS module which is ideally suitedto your requirements. For static measurement tasks where high resolution, long-term stability

and immunity to noise are a priority, e.g. during calibration, you can fnd 225 Hz or 600 Hz car-

rier-requency modules with an accuracy class o up to 0.0025. A DC amplifer is also available

or dynamic measurements up to 50 kHz. Messages transmitted via a CAN bus (or instance, in

cars or trucks) can be acquired in parallel with mechanical parameters. In each single-channel

amplifer, transducer data and channel-specifc settings are stored in a non-volatile EEPROM.

    Analog - precise and exible digital - high-speed, high-resolution: Single-channel measurement

modules have up to fve analogue signals (gross, net, maximum, minimum, peak-to-peak); these

can be ed to two analogue outputs according to choice. Hardware unctions such as zero bal-

ancing, taring or parameter transer can be controlled via PLC-compatible contacts. Measure-

ment signals are sampled simultaneously and in parallel using three channel-independent sam-

pling rates. The highest sampling rate is 19.2 kHz/channel. The high 20-bit resolution enablesyou to acquire very small to very large signal amplitudes without switching the measuring range.

You will achieve signifcant data reduction even during a measurement task with the assistance

    o the comprehensive trigger unctions.

Modular architecture: Your requirements change rom day to day, and so does the MGC - PLUS.

As its a modular system, you can select exactly the components you need or your current meas-

urement tasks. For example, you may choose to start with the purely analog eatures and only

later add the module or high-speed, digital data acquisition. The instrument can be ully com-

puter-controlled; or manual settings you can call up all unctions using a display and control

panel. Multi-channel MGC - PLUS modules maximize the number o unctions, minimize space

requirements and provide an excellent price-perormance ratio.

Data logging and intelligent data reduction: Using modern measurement systems you can easily

generate and store gigabytes o data, but the subsequent processing is inevitably time-consum-

ing. MGC - PLUS helps you solve this problem through intelligent data reduction.

The calibrator has two removable measur-

ing pins, to which dierent extensometers

can be clamped. In addition round detectors

like LVDTs or dial gauges can be tested by

use o reduction pieces (optional accessories).

The measurement accuracy meets the require-

ments o the best class o the EN ISO 9513 or

calibrators. The calibrator KMF 100 is equipped

with a high accuracy, incremental measur-

ing system. An built-in opto-electronic meas-uring head scans the graduation marks on a

For linearity checks o extensometers with the
