HORIZONTAL LINK BUDGET IMPROVEMENTS The Horizontal Link Budget offers many options for the customization of your report layout and the information that is displayed, adding flexibility for different market needs, and ensuring security regulations for all operators are met:
Sort results by operator
Customize columns in the Summary section
View the composite power at the input of the antenna, as well as the Mobile Range and Mobile RSSI
Display the decibel subtotal of each component category instead of all models within each component category
(The "Summarize the Other Components category under one unique column" check box has been removed)
Select "All" to include all Design project systems in the report (no limit restriction)
REPORT OUTPUT Operator
A new column for sorting this report (The "Group by system" radio button now renamed "Group by operator/system")
Power Before Antenna and Antenna EIRP columns
These columns can be included in the Summary section to show a subtotal per operator and a total per antenna
Total number of antennas
Extra info included at the end of the report

LIST OF APPROVED PARTS

LIST OF APPROVED PARTS When adding or replacing components, a filtering feature is available to view parts approved by your company/client. Under special circumstances, non-approved parts can also be used. A warning will appear in the Debug List identifying all disapproved parts that are used in a design.
This new feature facilitates the approval process of in-building designs by highlighting components that require special attention. It also helps to enforce the use of a specific list of equipment that may offer, for instance, better performance, price and lead time.
LIST OF EQUIVALENT PARTS
A list of “equivalent parts” can be defined for each component in the database. This list features components that have equivalent specifications to those components in the approved list. The substitutes can be interchanged freely in a project without it affecting the performance of the design. If the equipment specified in a project is currently out of stock, and needs to be replaced by an equivalent part, or if you need to quickly pull up the list of interchangeable components, this feature will come in handy.

iBWAVE UNITY VAULT The new iBwave Unity Vault can now be installed on each workstation to store locally projects when working offline. The Vault facilitates the management of projects while not connected to Unity and can enforce that all projects are stored back in Unity when a connection is available.
NEW REPORTS AVAILABLE Project Compliance report
List of projects with high-level compliance information (database and component compliance, project approval status)
Project Compliance Details report
Detailed compliance information on a specific project (database version information, project approval status, approval status of components and equivalents for non-approved parts)
