Reasons for trusting in God

• The same God who gives us the greater gift of life will certainly supply the lesser gifts of food and clothing. Matt 6:25

• God who cares for birds will care for his people: Matt 6:26



Reasons for trusting in God• Worry expends

energy pointlessly- it doesn't change the reality of the situation a single bit. Matt 6: 26

• Worry ignores God’s demonstrated faithfulness in our lives: Matt 6: 28-30



Reasons for trusting in God• We are God's

children. God will never treat us as orphans

• When we worry about tomorrow, we miss out on today



Fear God

• An autonomous mindset is a mark of foolishness, since it ignores our fundamental need for dependence on God

• Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept save Proverbs 29:25



Dependence on God

• Those who put more confidence in themselves or in other people than in God will find bitterness and disappointment in the end

• They may appear to prosper for a season, but the journey will not get them to their desired goals



• Leaders are responsible to manage their resources well and to lead their people effectively

• But prayer to God and dependence on him for the outcome is the wise leader’s constant strategy for success



Develop a consistence dependence on God

• Before Jesus raised Lazarus from the death he prayed: Father, I thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you always here me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me. John 11:42



Your faith

• Is your faith in God such that others see him working through you on routine and non-routine days?

• What one thing could you do each day to cultivate your dependence on God and demonstrate that dependence so others will see an example they could follow?



Destiny is the path and direction God has prepared for you

• When you allow vision, faith, commitment, and action to come together, you’ll be able to successfully reach your goals and fulfil your destiny.



God wants you to discover your destiny

• He doesn’t want you to wander aimlessly through life, not knowing what you were put on Earth to do. All of your life experiences can become stepping-stones to your final destination.

• Think of what you want to do, for whom, for what purpose, and how you’re going to do it. Then get a plan together to determine what you want to ultimately get out of your goals.



Destiny:Fate; a predetermined or inevitable course of

events.

Affirm the following:• I acknowledge my destiny.• I possess the ability to fulfil my destiny.• I am fulfilling my destiny.• I am committed to my destiny.• I am here to make a difference and was

created for a special plan and purpose.

• You say: “I’m too tired”

• You say: “Nobody really loves me”

• You say: “I can’t go on”

• You say: “I can’t figure things out ”

• God says: All things are possible Luke 18:27

• God says: I will give you rest Matthew 11:28-30

• God says: I love you John 3:16 & John 3:34

• God says: My grace is sufficient II Corinthians 12:9 & Psalm 91:15

• God says: I will direct your steps Proverbs 3:5-6



You say versus God says• You say: “I can’t do it”

• You say: “I’m not able”

• You say: “It’s not worth it”

• You say: “I can’t forgive myself ”

• You say: “I can’t manage”

• God says: you can do all things Philippians 4:13

• God says: I am able. II Corinthians 9:8

• God says: It will be worth it. Romans 8:28

• God says: I Forgive you. I John 1:9 & Romans 8:1

• God says: I will supply all your needs. Philippians 4:19



Prayer Focus• Father, I ask you to give me a

complete understanding of what you want to do in my life, and I ask you to make me wise with spiritual wisdom.

• I roll my works upon You, and You make my thoughts agreeable to your will and so my plans are established and succeed.

• I have the mind of Christ and hold the thoughts, feelings and purposes of His heart. Amen
