103 respondents. The research used total sampling. The variables of research are
anxiousness, aggressiveness and achievement, by using the measurements, i.e.

anxiousness level toward karate self-defense sport achievement on male kumiteathletes. it is proven by the result of t test amount -2,483 with p = 0,015 < 0,05. The
higher level of anxiousness will make lower achievement that is achieved and vice
versa. 2) There is a direct correlation between Anxiousness level toward karate self-
defense sport achievement on male kumite athlete. It can be proven from the result of
t test amount 4,332 with p = 0,000 < 0,05. The higher level of athletes
aggressiveness will upgrade the achievement that is achieved. 3) There is an indirect
correlation between Anxiousness level toward karate self-defense sport achievement
on male kumite athlete through aggressiveness level. It was proven from t test resultthat shows -12,225 with p = 0,000. It means that the higher level of athletes
anxiousness will make lower their aggressiveness and achievement.
Based on findings of the research, some suggestions are taken for coaches of
karate self-defense sport to improve in getting achievement maximally in order to
teach and guide athletes as part of their main jobs. They not only coach physics,
techniques, and tactics but also pay attention more to athletes physiological factor
related to anxiousness and aggressiveness. The suggestions for kumite athletes are: it
is better to do consultation extensively with their coach if they face anxious
problems; they suppose to understand how to develop and improve aggressive
behavior and keep their controlled aggressiveness so that it does not cause enmity,
