It's important to realize thatyou don't NEED to say 'Yes' toabsolutely everything. If youknow that something isn't apriority, then don't beworried to postpone that taskfor the next day.
Make a To-Do list the night before and prioritize what reallymatters for that day. When you have a clear idea of what you needto do and how will you do it, it's easier to get tasks done on time. Therefore, spend time on the tasks that are important to you at thatmoment and need to be done that day.
We are all guilty of spending toomuch time on ourFacebook/Twitter or justbrowsing the Internetthroughout the day. These arehuge distractions. If possible, spend some days fully offline, orcheck your emails less often.
don't say yes to everything
Most people skip their breaks or tend to eat their lunch attheir desk while working. This is a terrible habit. In orderto stay fresh-minded and energized, breaks are essential.Schedule a few breaks throughout your day, especially anice long lunch break, either out of the office or away fromyour desk. Go for walks if you can to clear your mind!
Always take some time throughout the day to assess yourproductivity and see if you can find any room for improvement. Could you be doing something a little differently to accomplish morehigh-priority tasks?
We love Productivity Apps! They keep you organized and workingefficiently throughout the day. Some of our favorite apps are:- Evernote for note taking, creating to-do lists, setting reminders &tasks- Slack helps to cut down on those long boring, unnecessary meetingsor emails with colleagues - it is a great platform of communication- Todoist is an app to categorize your tasks and set deadlines.
