2100 mAh lithium-ion battery gives the longest battery life any phone on the market.

Up to 9.2 hours of talk-time.

Up to 359 minutes (6 hours) of web-browsing time with the screen set on maximum brightness. If the brightness is turned down, it can last hours longer.

Beats out the iPhone 5s by 159 minutes of web-browsing time.

Removable battery that can be replaced easily if needed.

1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. Easily runs multiple apps without slowing down.

2 GB RAM

16 GB or 32 GB storage options Storage space can be upgraded using the microSD slot to get up to 64

GB of storage.

Runs on the Jelly Bean operating system for Android phones with more possible updates in the future.

5. PHONE SYNCING

One of the most high-tech features is used essentially to assuage the fears of converting iPhone fans. It is an app that easily transfers all media files into google play format so that they can be used on the Galaxy SIII.

Near Field Communication (NFC) allows users to share photos, maps, videos, and other files directly to another phone by touch.

A Galaxy SIII can also be wirelessly charged with a special magnetic charging pad.

6. NEW SMART FEATURES

Buddy Photo Share or Social Tag recognizes a user’s friends’ faces and can automatically share photos with them.

Smart Stay feature keeps the screen bright as long as the user is looking at the phone, using the front camera as a detection device.

S Voice has been added as a competitor to iPhone’s Siri.

Direct Call recognizes when a user wants to call rather than text someone by the position of the phone as it is raised to the ear.

Pop Up Play allows applications and videos to be visible on the screen at the same time.

The Galaxy SIII can be used as a remote control or beam its screen to a TV.

With so many great features on the Galaxy SIII, other companies are fighting to compete. iPhone is slowly introducing capabilities for 4G networks and new media sharing that Samsung has had for a while.
