Networking of LTE Site

Different from traditional base stations, SDR base stations adopt the all-IP architecture.

Configuration Flow

Data planning is kernel part process of the entire SDR data configuration.

Hardware Inspection checks the SDR rack, board, physical connection, antenna, and external alarms. It is performed on the construction site and is not introduced in this manual.

NetNumen is the network management configuration tool for SDR base stations. After SDR is connected to NetNumen.

Creating Equipment – BBU Boards

The device node is automatically created on the Managed Element node tree when creating NE. Only one device node can be created on one NE.

Double-click the Equipment node to display the Rack Graph window.

Creating Equipment – RRU

Double-click the device nodes under

each RRU board to perform

modification or creation operations on

RRU devices, including PA devices, Tx

devices, Rx devices, AISG devices,

optical port device, and dry contact

devices.

Data Synchronization

After users configure an

eNodeB in the network

management system, the

configuration data is only saved

in the database of the back-end

network management system.

Users must perform

synchronization to update the

configuration data of the front-

end eNodeB to validate the

configuration.
