Basketball is one of the best sports ever invented. Its somuch fun. I play on two different teams. One forWestminster Presbyterian church (W.P.C) and theother is Temple of Israel. Its awesome especially this

year because we won the championship for both teams. The temple game before our tournament was verse

Prince of Peace. The y was winning by one. We had theball, to throw from the sidelines. Break!! He said, we alldid the plan the coach told us to. Quentin is a kid on orTemple team that was wide open under the basket.

Josh on the sidelines throws it; Quentin catches it andthrows it up it lands in the basket.Yahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! We are cheering, andjumping on Quentin. What a game.

D-Day is a battle that was fought in World War 2. It was alsocalled Operation overlord. It was successful but also notsuccessful. It is the most interesting battle to me in history. D-Daywas when we had thousands and thousands of American soldiersland on Omaha, Utah. Also there was Sword, Juno, and Gold that

the British and Canadians took care of. Then by the end of the day23,00 men and 1,700 vehicles had landed after the beach wascleared. When the first wave came it wasnt pretty.

If you have seen a movie on D-Day like Saving Private Ryan,The Longest Day, Band of Brothers, etc, youll know what I mean.It was gruesome, horrid, and sickening. The second they step onthat beach machine gunfire just blew them away. Im interested in

it because my grandfather was in the D-day invasion. Im alsovery interested in World War 2. It makes you sad to think aboutthose lives loss for a good life like we have now.

Fires are scariest things. Wouldnt be a fire be one of the worst ways to die. Fire is whatwe use to keep us warm, cook food, and more. I bet you have a story about a fire. ForBoy Scouts I took a class on Fire safety at a fire station. The fireman told us some stories.One was that the moral of the story was that its better for one person to die than two.Meaning if a loved one is trapped or stuck in a fire, dont go in and try to save them, Ihate to say it but its true.

So he told us how he was once called to a fire of a family he took care of a lot. So,first the fire started and everybody was out except the sister. There were two boys andthere mom home. Well the mom had a couple beers before, and was freaking outbecause the sister wasnt out. So one of the brothers ran in there to find his sister. Hedidnt come out, it was about 5mins past since the brother went in. So the second brothergoes in to be a hero. Well the second brother who came in found his brother and wascarrying him out, when. Bam fell down dead a couple steps before the door because hebreathe in heavy smoke in his lungs and killed him. All it takes is a couple big breathsand your gone. Well the horrible thing is that the sister wasnt even home. She was out

with her friends. Dont try to be all superhero, gung ho or anything. As you see I havetwo pictures from September 11, 2001.Sadly an estimated 2,752 people died among thosedead were 343 firefighters, and 60 police officers from this horrible terrorist attack

Lake Hartwell is a lake that runs through Clemson, SCand into Georgia. My grandparents have a lake house and acottage next to Lake Hartwell. They also have a dock,paddleboat, kayak, and a ski boat. It is so much funtubing, skiing, kayaking, swimming and so much more.

Also you can enjoy Clemson games at the stadium. But overthe years weve had bad luck at Lake Hartwell. In 2003 the lake house burned down while my grandparents were

out to eat. It was sad because my grandparents dog, Knuckles,died in the fire. Then they built a new, better lake house. Thenduring the fall of 2010, someone stole our paddleboat so sometimeswe would go out on the lake to try and find it. Well, we heard thatsomeone found a paddleboat so we thought they had it. Well wechecked it out but it wasnt ours. But the people who found thepaddleboat also had a paddleboat that looked exactly like the onethat got stolen. I thought that was funny but I wonder if they stoleit.

Refrigerators are the best things; they keep yourfood nice and cold. But have you ever broken arefrigerator, or the handle? And then taped itbacks. Probably not. Heres a funny story.

Well it was a normal day, and I was hungry. So Iwent to the refrigerator to see whats in stock. Wellit wouldnt open so I gave it one hard last tug, andthe handle came off. Oh no, I thought. Well I was

about 5 and as a 5 year old, I thought of amagnificent plan. Ya, I taped it back. Not expectinganybody to notice. I even used the whole entireroll.

My worst thing ever happened ever at the zoo. I was about 2years old. I used to love my pacifier. Well it was my pride and joy.I didnt go anywhere without it. We were like peas and carrots. Icalled her Baba. Baba was my reason for waking up in the

morning. Baba was my life. I named her the most beautiful namein the world: Baba. She was addicting.

The tragedy struck in early December of 2001. All survivedexcept for one. The most important family member Baba was gone(M.I.A). So I was walking in my kitchen, going 007 modes. Mysister, brother, and a friend were there. I didnt want them to hearbecause I was embarrassed. I asked where my Baba was. She saidwe gave it to the baby monkey. I cried and cried, this is my horridstory.

I had lots of fun working on my A.B.C book. Itbrought back many good, bad, and funnymemories. Like the BaBa story and the

Refrigerator story. Some letters were hard, andsome were easy. Others were fun, some werenot.
