PRODUCT DESCRIPTION LOCTITE ® Product 5922 is a black, viscous paste with a characteristic alcohol odour. It is a slow drying, flexible setting paste that changes to a pliable, non-hardening film through solvent ev aporation. It seals flanges, fittings, connections and flexible assemblies against leakage. It increases the reliability of gasket seals. Remove all pr evi ous mate rial from mating s urf ace s. 2. For best results, clean and dry all s urf ace s wi th a residue-free solvent 3. Remove c ap, pu nct ure t ube or c artr idg e sea l and at tac h extension nozzle (if provided). 4. When use d as a gask et dr ess ing , spr ead prod uct w ith a spatula to a uniform film on one side of gasket and then position it on the assembly. Coat the second side of gasket and re-assemble. Slower drying formula increases work time. 5. Assembly i s ope rat ional af ter 4 ho urs , ful l cur e is affected after 24 hours. For Cleanup 1. The product c an be r emo ved f rom meta l sur fac es with isopropyl alcohol. If the sealant has been dried for a long time or at high temperatures, cover the sealant with alcohol and allow to soften overnight. 2. Cl ean hands with hand cl eaners. GENERAL INFORMATION This product is not recommended for use in pure oxygen and/or oxygen rich systems and should not be selected as a sealant for chlorine or other strong oxidising materials. For safe handling information on this product, consult the Material Safety Data Sheet, (MSDS). Storage Products shall be ideally stored in a cool, dry location in unopened containers at a temperature between 8 ° to 28°C (46° to 82°F) unless otherwise labelled. Optimal storage is at the lower half o f this temperature range. To prevent c ontamination of unused product, do not return any material to its original container. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

LOCTITE®

Product 5922 is a black, viscous paste with acharacteristic alcohol odour. It is a slow drying, flexible settingpaste that changes to a pliable, non-hardening film throughsolvent evaporation. It seals flanges, fittings, connections andflexible assemblies against leakage. It increases the reliability of gasket seals.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE1. Remove all previous material from mating surfaces.2. For best results, clean and dry all surfaces with a

residue-free solvent3. Remove cap, puncture tube or cartridge seal and attach

extension nozzle (if provided).

4. When used as a gasket dressing, spread product with aspatula to a uniform film on one side of gasket and thenposition it on the assembly. Coat the second side of gasket and re-assemble. Slower drying formulaincreases work time.

5. Assembly is operational after 4 hours, full cure isaffected after 24 hours.

For Cleanup1. The product can be removed from metal surfaces with

isopropyl alcohol. If the sealant has been dried for along time or at high temperatures, cover the sealant withalcohol and allow to soften overnight.

2. Clean hands with hand cleaners.
