Disconnect the power supply, the pH probe, and the computer or printer cables. 2. Place the instrument upside down on a padded surface. Use the T10 L-Key supplied in the Illuminator Replacement Module Kit (Cat. No. 59059-00) to remove the three Torx screws that secure the illuminator module (Figure 1). Warning: Some internal components may be damaged by static electricity. Use static discharge protection. 3. Remove the illuminator module by pushing on the cell holder cavity from the top of the instrument and pushing the module out the bottom of the instrument (Figure 1). Replacing the Illuminator Module1. Turn off the power switch and remove the cell holder. Disconnect the power

Note: Do not touch the three optical surfaces of the illuminator module! (See Figure 2.)

4. Insert the new illuminator module from the bottom of the instrument. Make sure the connector pins on the module line up with the connector inside the Odyssey. Do not force the module into place. Secure the module with the three Torx screws (Figure 1).

5. Return the instrument to the upright position and restore power and other cable connections. No calibration is necessary for the illuminator module.
