Support Services

What is this service? The service aims to support anyone living in South Shropshire who is aged 16-65 and is struggling to maintain an independent lifestyle. The ‘floating’ support service offers help to people in their own homes and communities.

A support worker will help you to identify your goals and set a time scale for those to be completed. Once your support needs have been met, support will end by mutual agreement.

The housing association has a team of housing support officers who may be able to help you with money problems, form filling, reducing isolation, help to access other services in the community, and much more…..

The Housing Support Officer can provide support and assistance in the following areas;• Help to budget money; sort out debts, set up water/electricity/gas

• Helping you to be healthy and enjoy life & meet new people.

• Involving and working with other agencies where appropriate who specialise with specific areas of support needs you may have.
