Two and Three Piece FrontsA choice between two fronts for the 5080 MH to meet your application needs.
5080 two and three piece fronts byPierce Pacific meet all your applicationneeds.
Booms, sticks, and tips are stressrelieved to maximize material strengthand durability, while minimizing weightfor improved performance.
Fronts use common parts. The twoand three piece fronts use standard Catcylinders. All cylinders are the same tominimize your inventory andmaintenance costs.
Cat’s XT hose and reusable couplingsmeet the stringent demands of scrapapplications. Couplings providepositive sealing for reliable, leak-freeconnections.
Three piece front has a 75 foot groundlevel reach and is excellent for highstacking applications using a three yardhydraulic grapple.
Two piece front has a 56 foot groundlevel reach and is outstanding for truckloading and bulk handling with up to asix yard grapple.

Undercarriage and StructuresThe 5080 MH undercarriage provides a stable platform for scrap handling applications, theheavy duty carbody and upper frame are strong and durable.
Heavy duty upper frame features include:■ two outside channel beams and channel cross beams to
support the operator’s platform and hydraulic componentry■ two long, box-section beams form the backbone of the main
frame, bearing the weight of the counterweight, engine andboom foot
■ solid, high-tensile strength steel plate boom tower and mainrails for excellent durability
■ reinforced boom foot and engine mount areas.
The 5080 MH wide, and long undercarriage is built to handlethe scrap applications.
Wide undercarriage with 2'11" ground clearance allowseasier, safer travel over scattered material. Hydraulic linesenclosed in the roller frame and carbody are safe frompunctures.
Extra long roller frames and 30" wide shoes give the 5080 amore stable base allowing full utilization of the machine.
Heavy duty carbody by IMAC stands up to scrap work. Thickercarbody plates, increased box-section height and wider gageincreases weight and load capacities.
Gen SetThe magnetic generator system is integrated for better performance.
60 kW hydraulically driven magnetic generator system byCrane Systems is fully integrated with the 3406TI ATAACengine for smoother performance, and constant voltage output.
Hydraulic drive means no belts to stretch or break, smootheroperation of the gen set with constant RPM’s, and moreconsistent operation of your magnet.
Proven components. The combination of the Baldor generatorand the Hubble magnet controller means long component life.Crane Systems has designed the system for ease ofmaintenance and serviceability.

Cooling SystemEngineered for easy cleaning and maximum cooling efficiency. (Patent Pending)
Hydraulic oil cooler is isolated from dirt and debris in thecab riser.
Service and maintenance are easier and faster with largeaccess doors and a swing out fan.
Air-to-Air Aftercooling (ATAAC) is standard on the 5080 MH.
Lower engine temperatures are realized with ATAAC andtranslate to cooler operation, less component wear, andsignificantly improved fuel efficiency.
Air conditioner condenser swings out for easy cleaning.
