EMBOSSING FOILING LASERCUT

I would like to look into embossing

because I feel it will add texture to

my work. It could be used within my

theme to highlight areas within

landscapes or architecture. I think

the most likely place I would use

embossing would be on the cover if

I was to make a publication.

Even though I have already

experimented with foiling, I feel I

could develop it further within this

project. It links well because of the

strong use of the colour gold within

the balinese culture. I like how the

examples I have selected show the

it being used in a variety of ways.

Laser cut is something I have been

meaning to try for a long time. I think

the examples shown link well to my

concept theme. The decorative

faces would look great if they were

to be interpretated into balinese

dancing. The three dimensional

structure is also interesting and

something I could look into further.
