All of the labs in this volume have been developed to help young learners explore key concepts in the Arts through investigations, writing, and creative activities. This book was designed with Kindergarten to 5th graders in mind, although you might find the activities useful outside of that age range, especially in middle school. Please note: adult assistance is suggested for some of the activities, especially those requiring assembly and research. Instructors are advised to review each project before assigning it. Each activity is memorable and fun, helping to engage learners in authentic activities for language arts skills like: poetry, writing, dance, drama, acting, visual and graphic arts, and more! You will also find a bunch of reusable full-page resources at the back of the book!
