A screening of highlights from Capstone Productions' documentary "Tom Lea's El Paso" will follow her remarks. The event is the keynote event of Tom Lea Month. $25. 533-0048, tomlea.net. 2 Fiesta of the Nations - Food, music and dance from many cultures will be featured at the festival Friday through Sunday at 8240 North Loop. Games and rides will also be part of the fun. Hours: 5 p.m.-midnight today; 3 p.m.-midnight Saturday; 3-11 p.m. Sunday. Malena Cano will perform at 7 p.m. today, followed by Los Bohemios. River City Band will headline Saturday; Así will headline Sunday. Admission is free; parking costs $2. 5 Brunch & Barks -Pet adoptions, grooming, pet photography will be featured at the event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Ardovino's Desert Crossing, 1 Ardovino Drive in Sunland Park. Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome; a costume contest will be at 11 a.m. Donations of canned pet food, cleaning supplies and new or gently used collars and leashes will be accepted to benefit the Animal Rescue League of El Paso; 20 percent of proceeds from the event also will benefit the Rescue League.
