Your thoughts become things. First off, what does that mean? In learning about the Universal Law of Attraction, we have come to understand that this is a vibrational universe. One of Einstein’s greatest insights was E = mc2 or, Energy is equivalent to Mass multiplied by the square of the Speed of Light which is about 300,000,000 meters per second - a very large number.

Matter and energy, therefore, are just different forms of the same thing. Energy can be turned into matter and matter can be transformed into enormous amounts of energy, as demonstrated by water or wind being harnessed and converted into electricity.

Science has further shown that everything is energy that is in a constant state of flux or vibration. Even our bodies and minds consist of vibrational energy.

Our thoughts literally are energy and our very nature is vibrational at the most basic level. Our thoughts – the thinking mechanism that runs all day and even throughout our sleeping state – are creative. Thoughts begin to mold our actions. Our actions, informed by our thoughts, begin to show evidence of something in manifest form.

and set forth that intention. It could be a conscious and deliberate intention or not. You go about your day, maybe you’re taking a walk, or driving your car running some errands. Maybe you just saw a woman walk across the street holding her child’s hand, something completely unrelated to what the article is about and, out of nowhere, a thought just pops into your head – the title of your new article.

Now you have an article title which gives your that “great idea” feeling! At your earliest convenience, say at the next red light you jot down the title of your new article.

So the energy of the thought, “I want to write a well formulated article...but what should my title

be?” set a creative process in motion. You went about your business without focusing on or wondering when, if or how your title would show up. You weren't focused in opposition of the desire or putting emphasis on its absence, i.e., you had no resistance. You gently knew that it would come and in the perfect timing. You remained easy and expectant that what you desired would come to you on time. And, sure enough – it did!

Understanding your vibrational equivalent is what tips the scale so to speak in your manifesting ability – or your apparent absence of manifesting ability. Your vibration is key.

For the purpose of clarity let me amend the very first sentence. There is no such thing as an “absence of manifesting” as stated above. Since everything is energy and energy is in a constant state of movement, what appears to be an absence of movement or absence of manifestation is actually a re-

manifestation of the same thing appearing as the absence of what is wanted. Re-read that sentence until you really get it. It's that important!

Most of us go about our lives not daring to want too much. After all, what if we get disappointed? This is because the way we’ve been socialized. We;re taught to look at the “facts,” to find evidence before we believe, or look at what others are saying or doing before daring to desire.

A childhood friend of mine had the belief that she should keep her expectations very low, that way she would rarely be disappointed by life. You see, when she was 8 years old her father (and very best friend) abandoned her and she had never recovered from that shock.

Fear of being disappointed is what so many of us face. We live in our past disappointments. That's like driving while looking in the rear view mirror. We hear the warnings: Don’t stick

your neck out too far; Be careful, you may get caught, hurt, embarrassed, lose money, lose your reputation and on and on. You can see how that kind of thinking rarely allows you to let your light shine!

You are a unique and rare individual who has special abilities that no one else does. Dare to ask. Dare to be brilliant. Dare to be joyful. That was what you came here for. To bring who you are to life and let your light shine.

So how do you determine what your vibration is?

Simply put, look around you. What is showing up in your life? What is the status of your

relationships? How about your finances, your health and your career or job satisfaction? Whatever your present experience is now is your current vibrational equivalent.

Like attracts like.

These are the areas in which to look for where you may want to goose up your vibration.

And if your vibration is not in alignment with your desire, how do you align it?

What are some tried and true practices to align your energy and vibration to move right up that vibrational scale from resignation, for example, to joyful expectancy?

As we spoke about in Secret #1, Your Thoughts Become Things, energy and matter are really the same thing only in different forms. On any topic in life we tend to have opinions, thoughts, beliefs or feelings. Let’s just take a look at a few of the myriads of topics we might cover over the span of just a day.

• the commute to work• rush hour• a colleague• your boss• lunch•my body•paying taxes

•mother-in-law’s birthday •car repairs• job interview•my sex life•gardening•mortgage payment• landlord•my paycheck•teenage daughter•mowing the lawn•housework•the need to exercise• the economy•the war

Obviously we could go on for quite some time to see that there are many, many topics. And on each and every one of them, we have an opinion, a feeling or a

dominant thought about each one. For example, you know that you feel a lot better about paying the mortgage than you do about your body. Or vice versa. Take a look for yourself and on a scale of 1 to 10, number each topic with 1 being the least enjoyable to 10 being excellent. You will quickly see that you have an internal dialog to go along with each topic as well. We all do. It’s a step in the right direction to notice that. Now we can go to work.

We are interested in becoming deliberate in our creating and manifesting. So it's of primary importance to

know how you register on the scale! This scale is the determination of your vibration or your vibrational equivalent to that subject.

If you are currently in a job that no longer satisfies you and are in the job interview stage of a career search, how you feel about that and what your background conversation or internal dialog is about an “unsatisfactory job”, “job interview”, or “career search” will be deciding factors in how quickly you get to that “great new career”. Or, how long you drag out the interviewing process (searching,

disappointment, second interview, third interview, they went with someone else, hiring freeze, not enough money).

How do you feel about all of it? This is the information you need to know before you can clean up your vibration. Be honest. No one else but you is grading you. It’s just information – albeit important information.

This is your internal guidance system, also known as your emotions. They are always accurate for you. They are always spot on and you can rely on your emotions every time.

One of my favorite Abraham-Hicks analogies on

ignoring your guidance system is: “It would be like putting a Happy Face sticker on your gas gauge so you don’t see the bad news that you are running low on gas. It is giving you important feedback.”

"Thoughts become things" means that thought precedes the thing. That is, a thought, an idea, comes first and then the action lines up after that and eventually you have an outcome. Sometimes you get the desired outcome, and sometimes not. However, once you know where you are on the vibrational meter, once you know where you track in the alignment or misalignment of your

thoughts with your desire, you now know how to get from where you are to where you want to be.

Test it out for yourself. Take several of the topics above and rate yourself. Look at an area of your life that is important, perhaps one that is not working so well. Go to work there. Find out where you are. Be honest.

Make a bold statement of desire: “I want a fulfilling, well-paid career with fun, like-minded colleagues. I want an employer who recognizes my talents.”

Then start bridging your vibration from where you are to where you want to be. Remember, it's a vibrational journey first.

“You can’t get there from here”. Have you ever heard the expression? It sounds silly doesn’t it?

I mean, you can get anywhere from anywhere, can’t you? If you know where you are and you know where you want to be and you have the appropriate map or mapping device, and means to get there, you should be able to get there, right?

Well. . . . maybe not. That is, maybe not vibrationally.

Can you get from black hole depression all the way to bliss immediately? Probably not. I can’t

think of one person who can. You might be able to fake it pretty well. But this is one case where “fake it till you make it” does not apply.

You do need to know where you are on that vibration scale. Being honest about this will pay off in the end. Don’t try to sweeten it or justify or soften the way you really feel. You feel how you feel and that’s important information. Treat it that way and it will serve you very well.

I need to clarify an important piece to this process. We do this work for the sake of improving our state of

well-being. We are not trying to change things “out there” or get other people to “start behaving”. There is no effecting some kind of change externally. This is an inside job and the shift has to take place within you.

Further, you need to let go of any outcome in the matter. What is – is. We do the work to get ourselves feeling better and more in alignment with our desires. All negative emotion is resistance. It is information we need to listen to from from our Inner Being. Any state of resistance serves to keep you apart from what you want. Like attracts like. Resistance attracts more resistance – in one form or another.

For demonstration purposes, I’m going to use a real life scenario with one of my coaching clients. We’ll call her Suzy.

Suzy was having some concerns about the upcoming Christmas holidays

when her step-son was coming for an extended 10 day stay. Her emotional set-point about her stepson, Eric, was one of annoyance and avoidance. In Suzy’s experience Eric has been

known to be disrespectful and any conversation quickly turned into a provocation on Eric’s part. In the past, Suzy would try to maintain her composure and retreat to her private space leaving her feeling like a hostage in her own home.

Here is how we worked up the vibration scale with Suzy.

State where you are with how you are presently feeling.

As in the above paragraph, Suzy was feeling annoyed and angry to not feel free in her own home.

“Well, Eric is moving through that early-20’s stage of life. I remember how awful my early 20’s were. I wouldn’t want to relive them for my life.“

“Yeah, he can be rude to me. But he’s not rude to me 100% of the time. In fact, I can remember when he has asked if I need help in the kitchen or has actually been charming and made me laugh.”

“If I remember to stay balanced and for me that means taking the time I need for me. Taking walks, meditating and retiring early to read, I’ll feel more in tune with me. “

“I promise myself that I won’t go overboard with holiday cooking and fussing and take care of staying in tune with me. That way I won’t get impatient and have my buttons pushed too easily. “

“We all have rough patches in life. Eric is doing the best he can. I can remember myself being quite a piece of work

growing up, too. I could have cut my parents some slack. “

“I appreciate my parents for the best they did. Eventually, Eric may appreciate me – or not. Eventually, I may appreciate Eric. Wouldn’t that be something if I could actually find something to appreciate about that boy!”

“You know we all need a little support and I think I’m just going to give it my best shot to look for the best in Eric. What a transformation for me that would be!”

“Hey I think I’ve hit upon something here. I can feel good about that. I am feeling much

better. “

Can you see how Suzy moved right up the vibrational scale? I recommend that you do this work in writing. You may have to do this more than once. But you can see how this little bit of time has made a marked improvement in Suzy’s overall feeling about Eric.

specific outcome rather than to improve your vibration and therefore your point of attraction. However, Suzy reported to me that the first day of Eric’s stay he came to her a apologized for treating her badly the last time he saw her. In my experience, miracles or shifts of perspective do occur with this work as a byproduct. And at the very least you get to feel much, much better

on your way to creating an improvement in any and all of the areas of your life. So just keep tweaking that vibration.

We learned in Secret #2 about your vibrational equivalent and we learned in Secret #3 how to determine what your vibrational set point or equivalent is at any given time on any given topic.

In Secret #1 we established that you are an energetic being. All of life is energy. Being energetic in nature you are transmitting at all times. What you think and how you feel about what you are thinking is

essentially what and how you transmit energy. At the top of the vibrational scale might be bliss or utter appreciation or ecstasy while at the bottom might be despondency, gloom, black hole depression.

The Law of Attraction states that like attracts like,

what you put your attention on tends to expand in your experience. Where you put your attention, whether consciously or based on old patterned habits, will become more of your life experience. Wouldn’t it be

well worth knowing how you're feeling at any given time of the day? Let’s take your vibrational pulse. What is your daily general mood?

How do you wake up every morning? Eager? Resentful?

Anxious? Are you happier on the weekends? Do you live for the long holiday breaks? Check in with yourself frequently throughout the day to see where you are on the

emotional vibrational journey.

How you feel is feedback from your internal guidance system telling you whether you are in alignment with your desires or out of alignment with your desires. Let me explain in more detail. We are all creators. We all came forth with the intent to be joyous and deliberate in our creation.

To have a life of expression and fulfillment seems contrary to the way most of us have been taught. We all came forth with our own unique internal guidance systems. We call it our Inner Being. Sometimes known as your Higher Self, our Inner Being is that still small voice, the wiser and absolutely loving self of you who is always on your side. Your Inner Being is so much in

love with you and it is in alignment with your Source or God and always knows you to be boundless, brilliant and eternal.

High vibrational emotions are emotions that feel good,

really, really good. The higher, the "gooder". And the lower vibrational emotions obviously feel not so good all the way to really, really rotten. You get the idea. Therefore, when you are feeling fine you are in alignment with your Inner Being or in alignment with your desires (that is, the fulfillment of something that you know will be fun, joy-filled, peaceful and good feeling). When you are

feeling insecure, sad, lonely, or any negative emotion, you are experiencing an emotion that your Inner Being cannot line up with because It knows that that emotion is not Who You Really Are. Who You Are is

all the high vibrational stuff – brilliant, generous, exuberant!

To line up with your desire you must be more in alignment with how your Inner Being feels about you.

Let’s use a specific example. You want to change careers. You now want a career that fulfills you. You aren’t sure what that looks like yet. So you begin to formulate what

a “career that fulfills you” looks and feels like.

Get out your sheet of paper and start writing. Might go something like this...

My Fulfilling Career

• It pays exceptionally well (name a $$ amount if that feels good)

[If getting more specific feels better do it. If staying general feels better do that.]

• I love my co-workers. There is laughter everyday.

• I have freedom to add input. There is an easygoing exchange of ideas.

• My employer recognizes the talent in his staff.

• Acknowledgment and recognition are my daily experience.

• Easy commute.

• Great benefits. [Again, get specific, if you like].

Now we ask ourselves a few questions to illicit a feeling tone. Remember vibration is key. Flesh out how it will feel when you have all of the elements you want in your new career. Talk about what the people are like. How much fun it is to laugh everyday. Feel it. See it. Amplify the senses where

possible.

Ask yourself, "How will it feel when I have…

...all that extra time off my commute?

...enough money to contribute to my retirement plan?

...an employer who values her staff?

...a flexible schedule so I can travel?"

Keep adding to this list as often as possible. Take some quite time every morning and evening just before drifting off to sleep and rehearse it all. Feel it into being. Ponder. Be playful.

Let’s face it – there are bound to be times when that other voice in your head will start talking. “What

kind of wishful thinking are you deluding yourself with now? You’d better start facing facts about your life and grow up”.

You know the voices I’m talking about. That's the kind of thinking that gets us out of alignment to begin with. We need to start getting really clear on mass consciousness thinking, our past conditioning and what it means to be a DELIBERATE CREATOR!

Any master of their life in any area of life has first had the thought of what they wanted to create. They kept thinking about it and loving it into being until they listened to their next internal prompt, until all of their actions lined up with their intentions and step by step

they have attained their goal – that or something much better!

The only question that remains is “Will you take the time to be master of your fate?” No one else can think your thoughts for you. No one else can vibrate for you.

Mastery takes practice and you deserve to master your life and have it all. It can actually be fun, playful and easy. You can have it all!
