The identification module enables authorised persons only to receive access to the relevant hazardous substances. With active storage, the media release always takes place via the identification. Input via programmable PIN codes is provided for identification. Identification via transponder keys or biometric analysers is possible on request.
Exhaust air monitor module for monitoring and alarm signalling. The ventilation of safety cabinets approved for active storage must run constantly. The exhaust volume flow must be monitored and an alarm emitted in the event of failure. This requirement can be fulfilled with the exhaust air monitor module, i.e. an alarm is triggered if the air stream drops and, e.g. a signal is sent to the central control.
Metering module for precise filling. With the metering module, metered filling of the smallest quantities of media from large containers becomes a simple, safe process The ideal add-on to a COMPLEX line drum sta-tion not only provides metering, but also the ability to continuously analyse consumption and remaining quantity data.
Level indicator module, warns of overfilling of containers. With the level indicator module, the risk of overfilling is substantially minimised and safety increases for users and the environment. The level indicator module completes the perfect DISPOSAL line solution. Combining the DISPOSAL line and COMPLEX line provides ideal preconditions for safe and easy media management.
Door opening module. Door opening can be activated using the keypad. After confirming the input command, a warning signal informs the user that the automatic door opening is starting. The pneumatic control from DUEPERTHAL is free of electrical and electronic components and is therefore the ideal solution in and around potentially explosive atmospheres.
Door locking module. Used in conjunction with identification, the door locking module not only enables media release but also locking and unlocking of the doors. Authorisation can therefore be extended to access to the safety cabinets.

Protect your safety cabinets against unauthorised access, with the Modular Protection System (MPS). The system enables you to implement modern physical access control to resources and hazardous substances.

Authorisation can therefore be extended to access to the safety cabinets.The MPS is an important module to help you fulfil the ever-increasing risk analysis requirements with respect to access control. For example, use in practice can mean that work instructions for safe and controlled handling of dangerous substances can be simplified, e.g. TRGS 526.
Functional application of the MPS also includes the option of equipping safety cabinets with the new one-hand door technology ONE with automa-tic door closing. This can be enabled via PIN input and other identifiers, e.g. transponders, biometric analysers, etc.
