These entites after having established a sense of familiarity, proceed to cause chaos and wreak havoc on the lives of unsuspecting individuals. Like Cyberbullying, Cyberstalking spreads through various Electronic Devices.

• Cyberstalking is a serious issue that is becoming extremely difficult to put a lid on, and parents must advise their children on who they converse with, online.

VIRUS ATTACKS

• Probably the most common, if not one of the most common problems associated with the internet, virus attacks are silent, quick and devastating if allowed to manifest. Even a seasoned internet user occasionally falls into the clutches of these viruses so one can only imagine what unsuspecting children go through.

• These viruses present themselves as harmless programmes but latch onto systems and proceed to cause severe damage to these particular systems. Parents must ensure that their children stay protected from such attacks via various Anti Virus Software.

• Phishing, a practice as old as the Internet, has now made it’s way onto various Social Platforms, thus making children who frequent such sites, easy targets.

If your child happens to come across any such scheme, make sure they come to you, first.

• The Internet is filled with pornographic content which is perhaps the biggest threat related to your children's healthy mental life. This is an extremely serious issue that plagues the internet.
