Don't forget to bring this fundamental equipment, Patagonia’s weather is
unpredictable!
Trekking Items
Heavy-duty plastic (preferably Nalgene brand) water bottle.
Personal first aid kit, including sunscreen and insect repellent.
Medium weight synthetic socks (we recommend Thorlo® Lt. Trekking).
Small flashlight with spare batteries, or small headlamp with spare batteries.
Gore-Tex rain/wind pants, preferably with full-length side zipper
Your hiking boots should be waterproofed, well broken in, and suitable for prolonged walking on rocky terrain and possi-bly snow.
Gore-Tex rain/wind parka (must fit over bulky clothing).
Hiking sticks (optional but highly recommended).
