India Rail 2012 th4 Annual Conference
June 29, The Lalit, New Delhi India Rail 2012 th4 Annual Conference
June 29, The Lalit, New Delhi
Indian Railways has been increasingly coming under the scanner in recent times from the industries and manufacturers for weak policy execution on several fronts. The freight charge hike announced days before the Budget 2012-13 has been decried as anti-industry. However, with the Vision 2020 in implementation, the government seems firm on implementation on new technology, PPP and a host of other reforms that the document indicates. For a behemoth organization such as the Indian Railways, this cannot be easy.
The 4th Annual Conference India Rail 2012 will be a rare common platform for policymakers, contractors, technology providers, material vendors, logistics companies, consultants, current and potential users of rail logistics to meet, discuss, recommend and solve.
The 4th Annual Conference India Rail 2012 will address issues and evolve specific solutions. The conference is deliberately structured in the form of relative brief speeches and longer panel discussions and interaction. This format will allow speakers to make presentations and then return to the table to discuss among session peers and later with the delegates. The format also facilitates more detailed interaction for delegates to share experiences and ask questions to the panelists.
Each session will include a Session Chair who will make a detailed introduction to the topics in his/her session. Apart from the Session Chair's detailed concluding remarks at the end of each session, the Conference Chair will, at the end of the conference, submit the outcomes of the conference.
