/nion and the increased st!dy and *ob mobility itentails. /nfort!nately' in Romania there has beenlittle interest in the theory and practice of lang!agetesting. More often than not' for a long time's!b*ecti%ity has been the only approach in the design

and marking of classroom tests -and not only. 0nlyrecently there seems to be a gro#ing interest -tho!ghtimidly manifested in this %ery important area. Thisst!dy' modest as it may be' seeks to *oin this trend.The !ltimate p!rpose of this st!dy is to make thest!dents !nderstand in depth #hat #riting skillsin%ol%e at this le%el and hopef!lly to lead to an
