It is your (the student’s) responsibility to: pick up the local packet, fill out the application, make copies, request a transcript, write essays and provide thank you cards. AFTER THE APPLICATIONS ARE TURNED IN…If you have received any other scholarships, let us know by May 3RD so you may be recognized

for your achievements.

Local Recipients will be announced at the Scholarship Program on Thursday, May 16th at 6:30 p.m. in the Sonja Angelo Theatre.

Each Recipient will need to fill out a Thank You form for each grant received. These forms will be attached to the recognition certificate that you will receive the night of the program.

You are also required to turn in a “Thank you” card to the sponsor. Turn in your form and thank you cards together. We will mail the thank you cards to the sponsors for you.

All money will be sent to the college that is listed on the Thank You Form. Please be sure that it is where you will be attending in the fall. If the money has to be sent back to us and we have to

send it back out, your money may not be at the right place when you need it in the fall.

Ms. Vazquez must have all forms and thank you notes by May 20th.
