2. An opportunity to be selected for the 4CNW Creative Directory and promote your products or services

4CNW TALENT Fund
• Between 1,000 and 5,000 euros in cash awarded to selected businesses
• The award must be matched by the business to create a fund of 2,000 to 10,000 euros
• The fund is used to commission a creative business to deliver products or services
• The 4CNW fund is non diminimus and can be used in combination with other funding

Creative Selection
• Businesses who have been successful will meet with brokers to develop project brief
• 3 Creatives will be invited to pitch for each project – support will be given for pitch preparation
• The Business will select the Creative they wish to appoint – support will be given to write contract
• Support is available from the broker throughout the project period for all parties
EU definition - The term “creative industries” refers to a range of economic activities that deal with the creation, production and distribution of creative goods and services. Creative industries build upon a rich and diverse core of cultural heritage, skilful arts and other creative crafts, and provide products and services in sectors such as publishing, media, software, gaming, consultancy, advertising, arts, entertainment, TV, design fashion and architecture.

• Have a business address in Scotland, Ireland North West or Northern Ireland
• Be a business that has moved past early stage development and into its growth phase of its lifecycle i.e. trading for one year or more
• Be in a position to match fund the talent award

We run a medical device company that supplies devices to hospitals. We see an opportunity in the personal, wearable device market and would like to develop new products that are sold directly to the customer. Currently the wearable devices on the market are functional and not very attractive and we see an opportunity to provide a different sort of product than those currently available.
