Preparation of complete documentation related to the grant scheme:January 2019 - September 2019 –Manual for grant approval procedures – evaluation and selection of applications, with detailed instructions regarding the steps and procedures for the two-step approach evaluation process including all annexes relevant for the process of evaluation and selection.• Guidelines: - Rural tourism and traditional production value chains for
the cross-border regions of Drina-Tara, Drina-Sava and Krsh. - Mountain tourism value chain for the cross-border regions
of Sharra, Prokletije-Bjeshket-e Nemuna and Prespa.- Beekeeping value chain for the cross-border region of
Pcinja-Krajishte.

- 02 September 2020, open call for proposals for mountain tourism value chain for the cross-border regions of Sharra, Prokletije-Bjeshket-e Nemuna and Prespa.
- 02 September 2020, open call for proposals for beekeeping value chain for the cross-border region of Pcinja-Krajishte.

• Evaluations and selection:- Performed Analysis 1 (administrative and eligibility check for
the submitted concept note packages and on-spot controls).- Performed Analysis 2 (administrative and eligibility check for
the submitted application packages and scoring, performed by the evaluation commission and engaged expert for business plan evaluation).
• Final ranking tables and decisions.• Preparation and signing of the contracts, in a period from
January 2020 to February 2020.• Implementation of the investment/activity separated in two
different time frames:- Realization of the Contracts latest by 31 May 2020 (due to
situation with Covid-19, several beneficiaries requested and received approval form extension period for implementation latest by 31 August 2020).
- Realization of the Contracts latest by 31 October 2020.

Total 78 concept note packages/applications were received within the calls.• 39 concept note packages/applications were received within
the open call for proposals for rural tourism and traditional production value chains for the cross-border regions of Drina-Tara, Drina-Sava and Krsh.
• 33 concept note packages/applications were received within the open call for proposals for mountain tourism value chain for the cross-border regions of Sharra, Prokletije-Bjeshket-e Nemuna and Prespa.
• 6 concept note packages/applications were received within the open call for proposals for beekeeping value chain for the cross-border region of Pcinja-Krajishte.

Realized investment – Jagoda Velkovska, procurement of 15 bee hives , super medium for honey without frames, transport belts for migration of bee hives, drill for frames (5 needles), heater for melting the wax, beekeeping dress with cap, uncapping fork-inox, tool for tension of the wire, double bottom sieve-inox, aluminum net against Varoa, oxalic acid dispenser, marking accessories for marking of the queen bees and wire for wiring of the frames, as a part of a partnership project.

February 2020 - October 2020
• Call for support to people to people activities was published on 22 March 2019.
• The call for support to people to people activities was closed on 19 April 2019 and total 62 (sixty-two) applications from all cross-border regions were received and evaluated.
• Evaluation committee was held on the 09-10 of May 2019 .• As per the available funds and planned budget within the
call, 40 (forty) P2P regional events will be supported till the end of 2020. From the ranking list 2 (two) events with high scores are supported as capacity building measures due to the content of the actions.
• Total 26 P2P events were supported and realized in 2019, additionally one P2P event was supported as a capacity building event.
P2P events for 2020Retrospective of the realized activities for the period - January 2019 –
December 2019
• Update on documentation related to P2P - Manual for P2P and Request for support (application package).
• Open call for support to people to people event was published on 15 January 2020 for implementation of additional P2P events in 2020 and 2021. The call for support to people to people event is ongoing.
• 13 requests for support were received and evaluated till the end of June 2020, by the SWG Secretariat personnel.
• Total 22 P2P event are foreseen for 2020, also taking in consideration the possibility to support additional P2P events submitted within the open call for support to people to people in 2020 and 2021. Additionally one P2P event is supported as a capacity building event.
Note: Out of foreseen 33 P2P events planned to be organized in 2020, 4 were canceled due to the situation with the Covid-19 and 7 are already realized.

Balkan cuisine is a synonym for slow food: home-cooked food, based on traditional recipes and using traditional kitchenware and ingredients from autochthonic breeds and varieties.
The Balkan culinary fairytale – ‘Food Beyond Borders’ is an art and science product, both a practical guide for gastronomic alchemy and a collection of descriptions of typical traditional specialties, autochthonic animal breeds and plant varieties. It provides the readers with a range of various recipes of alluring, nutritionally rich, colorful and affordable dishes be they vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, meat dishes or desserts from all six Western Balkan countries.
