Tip:IfyoualreadyhaveawirelessenabledPCorLaptopcheckthatyourwirelessnetworkadapterisswitchedon.Somelaptopscomewithasmallblueorredbuttononthesidewhileothersrequireyoutoenableitfromtheoperatingsystem.InWindows,gotoDeviceManagerandcheckthatyourwirelessnetworkadapterisenabled.IfyouhaveaPCMCIAorUSBwirelessadaptertryremovingitandthenre-insertingitwhileWindowsisrunningsoitwillre-detectit.Thelightsontheadaptergiveanindication

Wewouldadviseuserstoupgradetheiroperatingsystemsoftwaretoenablethissecuritysetting.WindowsXPuserswillrequireServicePack3,whichcanbedownloadedfromtheMicrosoftwebsiteorviayourUpdateManager.MicrosoftWindowsVistarequiresnoupdate.
