Daily Mass: Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday at 8:30am
Weekend Masses: Saturday at 4pm & Sunday at 9am & 11am
St. Joseph Church 118 High St, Medford
Daily Mass: Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 8:30am
Weekend Masses: Saturday at 4pm & Sunday at 8am & 10am
We welcome all to our public Masses!
If you are attending Mass, please review the following guidelines issued by the Archdiocese of Boston to ensure everyone’s safety:
To allow for social distancing, we have limited capacity at our churches.
If you plan to attend weekend Mass, please sign up in advance by visiting our website at www.MedfordCollaborative.org or by calling our office at 781-396-0423 x 103 by Friday at Noon.
Please wear a mask, and practice social distancing.
For your safety, surfaces are sanitized regularly.
If you are not feeling well, please stay at home.
The dispensation from the Sunday Mass obligation will continue for the foreseeable future. Cardinal Seán strongly encourages people in vulnerable populations, especially the elderly and those with complicating physical conditions, to continue to watch Mass from their homes.
Sunday Masses will continue to livestream on our website on Sunday at 10am.
Can you help? We are looking for volunteers to join our Mass Hospitality Committee to help as greeters and ushers at our weekend Masses. We would be so grateful for your participation in making every Mass a welcoming, safe celebration. If you would like to help out at one of our Masses, please call our Parish Office at 781-396-0423 x 103. Thank you!
Dear Parish Families,
We are conducting a survey to help us determine what is the best Mass schedule for our 2 churches in our new parish. We need your input so we can arrive at the best solution. Survey Deadline: September 22, 2020
The reasons for considering a schedule change are the following:
Masses must be far enough apart (at least 90 minutes between start times) so that the new Music Director can potentially play at every Mass.
Masses must be far enough apart (at least 90 minutes between start times) so that one priest can celebrate every Mass, if necessary.
We can offer additional Mass times that might be preferable for busy families.
We can use resources more efficiently and reduce expenses.
The on-line survey is available on the home page of our website at www.medfordcollaborative.org, just under the Mass sign up section. You may also submit the survey on a paper form which are available at our churches and our Parish Office. Completed surveys can be dropped off in the offertory basket at our two Churches or at the Parish Office.
Please don't hesitate to call our office at 781-396-0423 if you need assistance completing the survey. We are very grateful for your input!
Thank you! St. Joseph Church and School are so grateful to Mr. Joel Maggliozzi for the generous donation of a new flag which is proudly raised in front of our school.

Our priests are often at the center of efforts that build
strong support systems for all of us. In addition to
their daily pastoral responsibilities, they help establish
social service organizations, offer spiritual support for first
responders, operate parish food pantries, and recently, in
response to the pandemic, put their lives at risk to provide
comfort and peace to those suffering with COVID-19.
Healthier priests build stronger communities. And the
Clergy Health and Retirement Trust (CHRT) is dedicated to
keeping our priests healthy.
This September, you can support the CHRT’s mission
by giving to the special collection at Masses on
September 19/20. Every gift makes a difference and is
a symbol of gratitude for all our priests who don’t just
observe need in our communities; they seek it out so
they can respond.
Donate now online at clergytrust.org or scan the QR code to give with Venmo, Apple/Google Pay, and PayPal via Givebutter.
