    I was a Stranger. The Catholic Perspective on Immigration A free dinner and short discussion around the Catholic Perspective of Immigration is on Tuesday, November 28, in the social hall. The evening will start with a short prayer and reflection on the issue. When people have their food and are seated, a short ten minute video about Caritas International’s Share The Journey will be shown. A handout on the table will ask participants to consider two questions about immigration and the Catholic Perspective with the people at their table. After dinner, a short discussion about what people learned from their meal discussion and video.

    There is a Book of Remembrance near the tabernacle. Please write down the names of loved ones who have died and they will be remembered in prayer during November.

    DINNERS FOR EIGHT: A wonderful opportunity for getting to know your fellow parishioners! You and your spouse, significant other, friend, etc., go to dinner once a month for four months, beginning in

    January, in different homes, with different people. You host once, and take salad or dessert the other months. The social hall is available for hosting. All Adults are welcome!!     16 women are at St. Gertrude’s Monastery this weekend for a retreat. Please keep them in your prayers for safe travels, open hearts and minds. May they return rested and with filled with God’s graces.
