The M/805 range ot valves are ot a clean and compactdesign and are available with tour ditterent operatingmechanisms. They are tour port valves using a com monexhaust port which may have some advantage in thatonly one silencer would be necessary to cope with theexhaust trom bot h outlets.

By varying the angular movement ot the lever a certainamount ot tlow regulation can be obtained on theM/805/107 in the same way as on the larger M/806models. This teature may not be important wit h the-/187, -/387 and -/487 mechanisms where the 3positions are positively detented. The -/487 model shave a satety latch mechanism built into the lever toprovide a positive lock in each position to avoidaccidental operation. Ali valves are sealed when in themid-position.

These valves can also be panel mounted wit ho utmoditication.

The BM/805 valves have tour ports which are allgrouped on the under-side ot the valve. This can provideconsiderable installation advantage, particularly when.panel mounting. These valves have the same operatingmechanisms and characteristics as the M/805 series.

The pretix 'M' on Martonair equipment denotes thatit has been designed to a tully metric schedule.

Operating torces are quoted with a supply pressure ot6,3 bar.

When the mark on the rotary knob or lever is setagainst the letter '2' the port connections ot the valveare as in the diagram on the tar let!, i.e., the inlet port'1'is connected to the cylinder port' 2' and thecylinder port '4' is connected to the exhaust port '3'.When in the mid-position all the ports are isolated asshow n in the centre diagram. The diagram on the rightshows the port connections when the mark is againstthe letter '4' '. Le., port '1' is connected to port '4' andport '2' is connected to port '3'.

The main working components ot these valves are madeot corrosion resistant materials.
