General information:

Our high quality steel formwork forcircular columns offers numerous inno-vations for even best results:Each half has all necessary connectingflanges to fix 2 props and to hang theworking platform.All halves are identical, there are noright or left elements which have to bepaid attention to when mounting.Because of great precision duringproduction you can combine the halvesof one diameter optional.The consequent degrees of length andthe arrangements of the anchor pointsin a 50 cm raster also allow an optionalcombining of the halves in differentlengths!The special advantage is seen whenchangings of elevation of the floor slaboccur or when special formwork for con-soles has to be added, when one half hasto be disconnected.We offer different basic elements(as of 2.50 m) and attachment elements(as of 0.50 m).

The newly developed formwork profileoffers numerous advantages, whichextend the range of application conside-rably:The contour of the vertical longitudinalprofiles at the joint of the halves hasbeen adjusted to the normal frameformworks with a construction height of123 mm.Now it is very easy to connect wallformwork elements with the accordingformwork clamps. So you can concretewall sheets with a semicircle shaped endwithout any special parts.Special ledges to insert into the jointare not necessary.

b) Centering pinsThe accuracy of assembly when moun-ting the halves is guaranteed by thecentering pins, which fit exactly into thesocket ring and prevent displacement ofthe steel formwork.These pins are not welded, but screwedinto the new longitudinal profile and canbe removed and mounted easily whenneeded (for example connecting straightframe formwork).

a) Rubber sealingTo prevent leaking of water or grout atthe halves joint, the ROBUSTA-rubbersealing “G13” is installed directlybehind the casing face.This principle has proved itself best withsteel formwork in factories for prefabelements, constant quality of theconcrete surface is guaranteed at thejoint.This sealing function will also work whenconnecting to the frame formwork!

ADVANTAGES 4

The mounting of the one-part working platform to the formwork is done very quickand easy. It does not matter, which formwork diameter is used, the workingplatform with a central hanging point will be inserted without any inconvenientadjustments between the fixing flanges and secured with a square bolt preventingremoval.With this very quick fixing technique several formworks can be filled by using only oneworking platform, also when several different diameters have to be concreted.This helps to save costs and time !If necessary a working platform can be fixed to each half.The working platform offers highest working security for 2 men because of thesolid checkered metal base plate with insertable security rails all-round.Wooden elements on site are not necessary any more.For safe and space saving transport the working platforms can be stacked with thehelp of guide plates at the corners.

TRANSPORTATION AND MOUNTING 4Transporta) on a truck in halvesThe geometry of the formwork ribsallows the stacking of the halves on eachother.Especially with larger diameters as ofØ 500 mm the transport volume can bereduced.

b) on siteAt the end ribs with large borings areavailable in which the crane hook isdirectly inserted.Therefore a vertical or horizontal trans-port of the closed formwork or even ofsingle halves is possible without anyfurther accessories.

All parts for connecting (hammerhead and wing nut) remain at the formwork – therefore small casualty rate!

For safe casing works we recommend the following process:

First put up one half with mounted working platform, adjust with 2 props and anchor.

After the reinforcement bring second half, the halves will place themselves automatically in the correct position with thecentering pins by tightening the screws, therefore no changings of elevation of steel formwork.

Quick striking:

1. Loosen wing nut, do notremove from bar

2. Push bar forward 3. Revolve hammerhead of screwat an angle of 90°

4. Pull out of the groove of theother half
